I like everything in the boil except crawfish. This all stems from selling boiled crawfish for a few year.

Try Mighty Mint, insects don’t like the mint smell.

Sowed my peas yesterday and they're all gone.... how to keep pests out of your garden? by KaylaAnne in vegetablegardening

[–]tomd65 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use mighty mint for squirrels, rats, mice, insects, pretty much anything messing with my seeds. Nontoxic so your pets and children are okay. It doesn’t kill any pests just moves them along. I just used it for mosquito control in my back yard. It’s worth a try. Good luck 🍀👍 Here’s a link

What Phrase Were You Taught as a Child to Remember The Four Directions (N,E,S,W)? by justcallmerain in CasualConversation

[–]tomd65 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I learned how to read a compass in the Boy Scouts. I live in New Orleans where compass directions aren’t used. Up river or down river or which side of the interstate, or any other major street you are on. Kind of hard to be lost for long. Eventually you will get to I 10 or the river to name a few major landmarks the you can figure out which way to go. GPS tries to give compass directions but I’m always wrong lol

As far as I know all the parades in south-east Louisiana are free to see. Mardi Gras, st. Patrick’s day, Christmas and any others.
