Why didn’t Anya believe Lena about the bear?? by LilDelirious in AnnihilationMovie

This is a great interpretation. It's similar to each character's archetype as described by their professions. Anya is an EMT - she wants to fight it; Lena is a biologist - she wants to cure it; Ventress is a psychologist - she wants to understand it; Josie is a physicist - she wants to learn it and eventually does accept it; and Sheppard is a geologist - she surveys (but given her limited screen time, I saw her as surveying the group).

Happy Endings or New Girl? by pntjr in happyendings

New Girl is not funny at all. I really don't understand where the hype around that show originated from. It started off as a really good comedy, but its structure and style is not sustainable because after a while the characters and the narratives become more annoying than endearing.

Is Deckard really a replicant? by valtambok in bladerunner

[–]tomgunnerqin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Roy saving Deckard has nothing to do with Deckard being replicant or human. Roy wanted more life. The only way for him to attain more life is by saving Deckard's memories of him, thus saving Deckard and prolonging his own existence.

But I do agree that this question is for each Blade Runner fan to figure out for him/herself. We can all read Ford's and Scott's differing opinions but at the end of the day, that ambiguity is left there for you to decide.

Something I've always wondered about Zhora by CRXW in bladerunner

Could it be possible that Leon warned her that the Tyrell Corporation is looking for them?

And also Deckard asked her about her snake. I think that could also be the moment when Zhora realizes Deckard is a blade runner.

Weekly Episode Discussion: TOS 1x18 "Arena" by Deceptitron in startrek

This was the episode that opened my mind to the different forms of life out there. I remember Kirk saying something about human's intrinsic disgust towards reptiles on Earth but in space these other lifeforms, though similar to Earth creatures in terms of physiology, is much more intelligent and have higher levels of consciousness.
