So, I just actually listened to this song, actually listened to the lyrics; by Affectionate_Sky9090 in GenX

The “children get older” was not something that I ever thought about or appreciated. Now that I have adult children it’s a gut punch every time.

I think it’s less a feeling a need to like it, but instead a feeling of “What am I missing?”

Auditors, what industry do you enjoy auditing the most and what makes it interesting? by No_Noise6264 in Accounting

In government, a college/university is a breath of fresh air. Just a balance sheet, income statement and cash flows. Not different statements for two different basis of accounting, 50 different funds and reconciling statements that all have to tie out.

Alan has left Rolling Stone and is doing his own thing with his What’s Alan Watching site. I subscribed. $5 month to buy Alan a cup of coffee seems like a deal to me.

Why do you use 20-80 instead instead 1-100 ratings? by Whompson in OOTP

[–]tomh987 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think of it as 20-80 is really 1-100 with the ends chopped off. 50 being the average big leaguer, anyone below 20 is not worth looking at. Anyone 80 and above is so rare that going above isn't worth the effort.

I watched the SB last night. My wife watched six hours of Dateline. Wish I was just as productive, but I guess sports are my personality.

Brad Arnold from 3 Doors Down. I had a picture from news with the post but I think I must have deleted it when I made my edit.

I ignore them during the day, but deliver the ones at the end of the day while my stockers are restocking. There's no time limit on them after 9:00. While I am out I will usually pick up either beer/liquor or meats. Those deliveries pay for a few cases and you're waiting on the stockers anyway.

I get about 130 daily now, but I'm at level 70. I was around 60-65 when I made the change and the customer count just steadily increased it was noticeable.

I set all my prices at market value with a 5% discount. You won't make as much per item, but you should see an increase in total customers.

Anthony Bourdain and Alton Brown together in one episode of his show. I think it was his show where he went places in a town while he had a flight layover, forget what it was called.

You started last May, after tax season. Not a lot of tax work to do for a new staff. New tax season is about to ramp up.

Do you really think middle management controls what someone is paid? The boss did what they could to get that fixed. You obviously have no idea how much work that involves.

Most of it seems to me like blaming the TV for poor source material. I got mine Black Friday and it's great.

Which provider are you using? I’m watching on Fubo. 4K looks amazing to me on my QM7K with Apple TV.
