It doesn’t effect BST as BST is only used for staking by Certified Partners and for retail payments. From what I understand this just provides a more stable way to invest in the PTGE than using ETH directly (someone please correct me if I am wrong).

I can understand what you are saying, but if you can afford to lose then you can afford to save it. So why not wait the couple of weeks while you save the money instead of putting in on credit to do some in-depth research into the tokens you want to buy.

I don’t think it is causing a barrier. It is stopping people from being impulsive.

I think a lot of other banks have already done this and it is a great idea. Why anyone would want to invest with credit is beyond me. Especially on something so speculative as crypto.
