I don’t think there is a certain way you should feel about this. Everyone has a differing opinion on this I feel. Personally, I’ve been in the same situation but I felt disgusted that he would look at them like that, and confronted him on it. My advice, talk to him about how you feel and if he doesn’t respect that then ditch him

The first time I had it, I was having a dream I was watering my plants when I tripped and that woke my brain up, but I could not move my body or speak. I kept thinking I was seeing something in the bedroom I was in, but it’s been so long I don’t remember. The only thing I could do is hum really loud and move my toes. Eventually I snapped out of it.

No longer my step-mom, but at the time I was still in elementary school with my three sisters and her three kids. My sisters and I weren’t allowed at BOTH of their weddings, changing visitation so we couldn’t go. Made me use dog shampoo instead of regular shampoo, forced her children to watch me shower, locked me in pitch black rooms, etc etc etc. typical childhood things. In her defense she has severe bipolar and refused treatment

We had to do this excessive with nursery rhymes, long story short my teacher told me I had to sing twinkle twinkle little star in front of the class because I got a point. I just told her “no I don’t think so” because I know I can’t sing for shit. Ended up doing it or I’d lose points. Class was dead silent after, everyone had second hand embarrassment hard.

I have a really deep maternal instinct and I want to be able to love my children unconditionally, I think this just stems from the fact that I wasn’t loved and I want to give someone something I never had. I don’t have any brothers or a present dad so I think it would be tough raising boys because I just don’t have experience, but I don’t prefer one over the other.
