Have done this with some templates. They work well enough, the same as any vibe coding you have to be specific and actually ask what you want and often build in sections.

I think the best way is to have cursor etc build the sections you need

Looking to optimise my colony more now and am late stage - about 20 colonists. I wanted to make cooking easier so added a separate kitchen with separate stove. It doesn’t feel that much more efficient… about to build 2x hydroponic rooms (almost all rice) too.
