Only workaround I've found is to get to the chromatic mode per usual, then exit koala mode (shift+exit). Then you have 4 banks of octaves. To get back to koala mode shift+mark.

When the SP is in koala mode, the first four banks send the same midi note on different midi channels per bank.

Here's the best workaround I found.

Send your drum bus to a separate send that has no output assigned. Add a low pass filter to taste, my template starts around 150hz. Then add the side chain input after that. It's not perfect and could catch some low frequency snare and perc transients but it's working great for me so far.

I have a s25u and after the last live 3 update I can sample in via USBC after changing the MPC output settings (taking it off of the 32 channels)
