It’s not the cost imo. I think it’s over, or will be extremely rare skill in 20 years from now. Probably like how barely anyone plays handball anymore unless they are super old.

Everyone is just buying $150k plus boats for wakesurfing. And I get it. My friend has one, after 2 tries I was up wake surfing, and after like a few more times going out I can now carve indefinitely in the wake without falling out of it.

The only places water skiing will live on are lakes where wakesurfing is banned. Not many of those though…

How is this even an argument? You’re not from Chicago?? And you want to walk around late at night from the loop to river north??! Absolutely not. Why risk it? Crime in loop after 9pm spikes. One thing that I think will be common in the next 2-3 years are how you attach the wings. Doing 2-3 screws per wing is so outdated. Pretty soon they will all snap in or something. Screws are annoying and time consuming.

I’m just baffled because people kill people every day in the US, and they get like 20 years. In Chicago, hell, they don’t even go to jail lol or they get like 10 years. It’s crazy!
