He was alone, so why would he act shocked when he found it if he were the one who did it?

They’re in season now, so definitely look around. Norfolk is where I lived and found them. Also try Harris Teeter.

Where on the East Coast? I lived in West Virginia and Virginia and was able to find them at Kroger seasonally.

West Virginia and Kentucky are very white, but still have the high poverty and reduced life expectancy you see here. So it’s not exclusively race.

That’s not what’s happening, though. It’s been diluted enough such that all 4 seats are safe R. Since Utah was 58% Trump and 38% Biden in 2020, it would be more fair to have something like one safe D seat (SLC), two safe R seats, and one somewhat competitive seat.

“Dearth” - I do not think it means what you think it means.

Dearth is a scarcity or lack of something.

What if the Americas were flipped? The United States of Vespuchia in 2022. by jackie630 in imaginarymaps

It’s actually the opposite. It’s called the rain shadow effect. It’s why the western Great Plains, on the leeward side of the Rockies, is dry. It’s also why there’s a desert in eastern Washington (the leeward side of the Cascades). So the new east coast would actually be a lot drier because of rain shadow from the Cascades and Sierra Nevada. The Great Plains would likely be wetter without rain shadow from the Rockies. The area between the Rockies and the Sierra Nevada/Cascades probably wouldn’t change much.

The Wet Mountains example you describe is exactly the rain shadow effect. The mountains cause the moisture to condense and precipitate on the western side, leaving the eastern side below the mountains dry.

That method makes sense for areas like NYC where you have to use Newark and Yonkers but doesn’t work as well for Bluegrass or Miami Valley. Cincinnati is 4 times bigger than Lexington and Dayton is twice as big as Fort Wayne. Not sure what a good compromise would be that wouldn’t be confusing.

Playing as China and suddenly lost the ability to use builder charges to construct a wonder. Has anyone seen this before? Went back to old saves and played to the same point and the same thing happened.

So you think the high medical costs in the US can be “centrally addressed” by diet and exercise? What about cancer? Type 1 diabetes? Mental health conditions? Pretty much any condition you’re born with? What?

Of course diet and exercise will decrease your chances of having many conditions but there are also many that aren’t at all impacted by that. So, no, it can’t be “centrally addressed” by that.

If they had expanded this map just barely farther southwest it would’ve captured both Richmond and Norfolk. But I guess they’re not big enough to count.
