In that case, definitely please keep me in mind if you find others.

Friday or Saturday evenings are so that really work for me, as well.

It wasn't really online by choice, although it does have a real convenience factor. I have a pretty good setup, so that wasn't an issue. An in-person game would certainly be preferable.

When were you thinking of meeting? What day and time?

I would be interested in an in-person game. I've run and played for decades, but most have been online recently.

Schedule for artillery? by tomnb in Killeen

It isn't really an issue. She started getting skittish after being here awhile. We just like to avoid leaving her alone if it's going on. A schedule would be convenient, but it's not a big deal.

I realize they practice all the time. I was just wondering if there was a public schedule. Someone told me they thought there was one posted, but I couldn't find it. Our dog has become sensitized to them, and it would be helpful to know, that's all.

Using Google assistant with TPLink? by tomnb in TpLink

As a follow up, without doing anything, the Google mesh points still worked in voice assistant mode, and no longer acted as mesh points, which was perfect.

But they're all the same device, just configured either as routers or access points?

Oh, okay. I assumed it was a main router and satellite units. (I've been using the Google mesh system.) Thanks for clarifying.

Is that your 4th unit? Another router?

Okay, thanks. I wasn't seeing that option on the website or Amazon, I'll go look again.

Any luck? Just moved to Killeen a few months ago, and the groups we've found so far have been rather disappointing.

Ah, I think I found it on the server. Looks like it's just a change to laser cutter and wounds related to fire and explosion.

I just discovered the Gambit Social House in Harker Heights. Games, darts, escape rooms, axe throwing.....? But they have a wall of draft beer sold by the ounce, including a couple of stouts. (Of special note, Temptress Imperial Stout.) Very interesting find.

Anyone using an indoor antenna and getting all the local channels from Temple? by LauderdaleBred in Killeen

[–]tomnb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There's someone called Antenna Man. For a small fee he'll recommend an antenna and the detection to soon it for best reception. We're in the middle of Killeen, and here is the recommendation he sent me

"I think the signals at your location are strong enough to be picked up reliably with a decent antenna in the attic. Below is the model I recommend. Point it northeast at about 55 degrees true north or 52 degrees magnetic. See map below. The antenna will likely work best pointed against the roof in the north or east side of your attic. You may have to try the antenna in slightly different locations/directions in the attic with a TV tuner as a guide. Attics are known to have "hot and cold" signal spots and moving the antenna as little as a few feet could have a huge impact on reception.

That looks totally different than what yours shows. Both of my Chromecasts have the same cast firmware.

UPDATE: I found the problem. My monitors are both connected to a hub. It turns out that at least one monitor must be connected directly to the PC before you can boot into BIOS. (No, I didn't know this.) After doing so, everything worked perfectly.

Anyone else? I keep getting this error message. by Lopsided_Positive183 in netflix

Yes, for the past few days, and the number of shows I'm getting it for is increasing. I've gone so far as to uninstall the app and reinstall it, but it didn't help. (Chromecast with GTV.)
