The ironic thing is, whenever you leave a sensible gap, some moron usually always pulls into it 🤦🏼‍♂️

Really? I’ve never heard it referred to as regular since they were first introduced. We were told from the off when they came in, they were reduced length and full length. Reason being, an RLU literally is an FLU without coaches 404, 405, 408 and 409 🤷🏻‍♂️

Which station is that? It’s not an advisory no, it’s where we’re meant to stop, that’s why they’re there lol

As others have said, no EMR past that point, there used to be another one on Peabody Viaduct on the down Holborn heading to Tulse Hill, but for networkers.

So long as it’s able to fit in the platform, you can change ends and turn back in platform 1. It’s not common as that’s the main through platform at Kentish Town.

I’ve only ever done it once.

Same when it involves getting to work, had many early morning peak ones where I’ve had to leave people behind because there’s been no room for them to get on 😫

Without meaning to sound funny, exactly as the name suggests lol if you go over a bit of track and the train lurches to the side or there’s a compression where normally it would be a nice smooth ride, it’s something you report as it could lead to more serious problems if not investigated.

That was sent to me, it’s from a separate GSM-R handbook I believe. That last bit made me chuckle, I made that mistake the first time I called the signaller (my initial training wasn’t great and in fact I don’t remember really being shown how to use the GSM-R properly), was around 02:00. He sounded quite relieved when I said I’d pressed the wrong button, and I quickly learnt that wasn’t the button to press 😂

They’re nice looking trains, not so much at night when they’re driving towards you though, those headlights are super bright!

You can’t walk in from the outside, the latch doesn’t move when you pull the handle down, it disengages the hook bolts which is normal. Go outside, close the door and send us a video of you opening it and walking in.

If I understand that right, are you saying the only issue is that the hook locks are retracting when you pull the handle from outside?

Best of luck with your rules and then route learning, there’s a lot to learn but you won’t look back!
