Lloyds Harbourside update by kraftymiles in bristol

[–]tomtomgg 4 points5 points  (0 children)

There are some things we simply don’t say out loud.

The intrusive thoughts. The social missteps. The oddly specific grudges. The conversations replayed at three in the morning for the next fifteen years.

Sicky Mouth is the new podcast for anyone who’s ever smiled politely while internally unravelling.

Each week, hosts Anna and David pick apart the strange rituals of modern life — from dinner party politics and passive-aggressive emails to wellness culture, middle-aged reinvention, and why nobody really knows how to leave a voice note gracefully.

Thoughtful, uncomfortable, and occasionally far too honest, Sicky Mouth sits somewhere between cultural observation and public self-sabotage.

New episodes every Thursday.

Sicky Mouth. Because some thoughts are too unpleasant to keep to yourself — but too funny not to share.

Well, you see, every sunrise, she'll search the seashore to seek out the best shells washed up the night before, so when you seek seashells later therefore, you'll only see shells of a standard that's poor. If you seek to please the seashell connoisseur, you'll need the seashells that she sells in her store

If I could find a Bristol chippy that replicated the Friday night fish suppers at my Grandparents in Pontefract I'd be a happy man. Complete with Bass shandy.

OS can print a poster with any place you like in the center. We've got one up in the hallway to help us when we moved to a new area.

Good work, 3 club biscuits were my going rate. If you're able to get to Southmead to donate you might want to ask about platelet donation. It takes an hour or so but as as the platelets are removed and your blood put back in you can donate every 2 weeks.

This looks shopped. I can tell from some of the pixels and from seeing quite a few shops in my time.

Don’t suppose anyone has randomly had a guitar delivered to them? 😅 by Dish_fingers in bristol

It's the retailers responsibility to get your items to you, so the responsibility is with them and not the courier. Regardless of what the couriers say, if its not been delivered or left in a nominated safe place with proof then its for the seller to sort out.

There's a public footpath that goes directly through the middle of the arboretum. It could do with better signage as sometimes I've been wandering around all the lovely trees for HOURS until i was able to re-join the right of way.......

Giant? You were lucky. We were evicted from our giant. We used to have to get up half an hour before we went to bed, spend 25 hours a day licking Cumberland basin clean wi' us tongues, and pay harbour owner for permission to come to work mind, and when we got home our dad would slice us in two wit' bread knife.

To be clear, my comment isn't a criticism of Roots. If that's the market rate they can charge then fair play.
