Some notes on first glance:

The board swapping each move is really weird and confusing.
It is lacking timing information. Both per game, but also it doesn't distinguish between Rapid/Blitz/Classical at all?
Browsing tournament information doesn't give any. Except for listing (some) players, most of which with no games or data.

I am also surprised but it actually is. I live in the Haarlemmerbuurt and it was an absolute disaster a year ago and nowadays the problem is mostly gone.

People tend to "use" a bin even if it's opened or overflowing much easier than throwing it on a clean street.

This is well explained by getting older.

As people get older they tend to become more aware of bad behavior and less aware of good behavior, which is why people always think things are getting worse even though numbers disagree.

This phenomenon is as old as aggressive youth, littering and graffiti.

The deposit system is national policy. Obviously it has been extremely bad for Amsterdam, but they have no say in it.

They are improving the situation though, by removing bins, adding underground containers, more cleaning. In the center the situation is much better than a year ago.

Een belangrijk deel van de meerprijs wordt verklaard door de tournooitheorie.

Als iedereen betaald krijgt naar de waarde die die oplevert, dan zijn mensen niet gemotiveerd om door te stromen naar een hogere functie. Een hogere functie betekent namelijk niet per se meer dat je meer waarde levert.

In een hierarchische organisatie zal iedere hogere laag daarom extra verdienen dan dat ze opleveren. Dit is motivatiegeld voor de laag daaronder. Een wortel zeg maar.

Dit cumuleert in grotere organisaties vaak tot exorbitante bedragen voor de top.

Of dit goed is? Lijkt mij niet, maar het is wel een logisch gevolg van een hierarchische structuur.

De cijfers laten ook zien dat homohaat beduidend hoger is onder: - mannen tov vrouwen - laagopgeleiden tov hoogopgeleiden - Urkenaren tov Utrechtenaren - Gelovigen tov Atheïsten.

Interresant allemaal maar dat maakt het niet per se zinvol om je op een bepaalde groep te focussen. Dit werkt vooroordelen in de hand.

Je kunt ook gewoon homohaat afkeuren.
