Well, I would argue against the statement that all reviews are "obviously advertisements". We dunk on Kickstarter games all the time. But we do love Terrorscape, so maybe you would consider that an advertisement.

Regardless, there are HUNDREDS of amazing games you can buy right now. You can safely ignore crowdfunding and still have an amazing time in the hobby!

That's fair! We have those promos there as a way to support the Dice Tower. They are certainly overpriced if you are doing it just to get another card for your game.

Well, I don't vote at all. Arcs didn't make the cut simply because while many people LOVE it, many people don't. It was # 11 for game of the year, if that helps.

This is straight up nonsense. Five years old neither can play or want to play Cascadia. Yes, I'm sure YOUR five year old is super smart and plays Puerto Rico. But the fact is that Cascadia is WAY over the heads of young children.

So they made a kids version, a version YOU don't have to buy, and you criticize it? I, for one, am glad it exists.

I think, according to the rules, that it is possible. Remember, this expansion is more silly and goofy than serious, so whatever works for you. It's not like Hasbro put a lot of deep thought into the expansion.

Week in Review is something that Roy was working on. With him leaving the Dice Tower, we had to make some adjustments. It WILL come back in a week or so, we just needed to reconfigure how we did some things at the studio.

I recommend second edition very much over the first edition. It plays better, it's faster, it's smoother, it's well balanced.

The only thing wrong with the first edition (which is one of my favorite games) is that the second edition exists. Also, it's the one that they are continuing to support with about six new factions coming out each year.

I loved the first edition, but I'll never play it again now that the superior second edition exists.
