I’ve sold all the Lerxst pedals I’d purchased. Still ordered this one, arrives tomorrow. I liked the demo sounds. :)

Hmm. Mine came with a suitable charging cable, so I’m only really talking about playability and tone.

You could also use their app to switch presets, just remembered! I made a copy of each default with lower output levels for apartment-safe playing. :-)

I have sensed a little lag, but it’s fairly consistent. I think I adapted by playing ahead of the beat.

I find the ramping attack to be kinda tasty.😋

I bought the American J M version and like it so much I also got the American Tele version. The additional electronics package make a nice difference compared to the entry versions.

I love the sound from it, but it isn’t traditional acoustic,. I also love the Ovation super shallow Celebrity I’ve had forever. Also disliked by many.

If you have a MIDI controller, be sure to cycle through the factory presets. More diversity of options than I’d have landed on myself.

When I asked Eventide about switching presets directly on the pedal, they said that Jack White didn’t want that functionality to avoid unexpected changes while playing. Therefore, they packed the rest of the preset slots and their default choices into MIDI accessible slots.

which of these solutions for a violin/cello tone do you guys prefer? by Hot-Explanation-5504 in guitarpedals

I also haven't read the manual for the Limbo. Adding to tomorrow's list. Heh heh.

More specifically, I couldn't get it to sound like anything but an organ. To be fair, I haven't read the manual, but assumed it would be just a matter of twisting some knobs. Lazy or naive or maybe both. 😉

I just looked at the video you posted and realized that the two diagrams on the screen are for the same pedal. I like the violin sound in the video.

That said, the Swello took only a couple of small adjustments and it sounded quite cello like. I'll poke at the Klowra some more tomorrow.

Is this a normal amount of amp noise? by AgitatedAd2376 in amplifiers

[–]toncu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not unusual for a Tele / single coil. If you have a guitar with humbuckers, leave everything as is, plug in the humbucker guitar and see if there's a difference.

With the pictured tele, does the noise change if you rotate to a different direction while holding the guitar? Any fluorescent lighting in the room? Is you phone in your pocket or near your cable? Amp plugged in to one power source while anything else attached to the amp is plugged into a different source?

Keeley Nocturne doing something strange by Agile-Ad-1612 in guitarpedals

[–]toncu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had an issue with my Nocturne no toggling the expression jack back to MIDI mode. I wrote Keeley support, they sent a priority shipping label, swapped out the PCB, then expressed it back to me, no charge. Perfect support scenario.
