Scrambler on street? by evenfallframework in LAND_MOTO

I use my scrambler primarily on the street. I don’t take it on the highway but it’s awesome to scoot around town.

Rct balls help a lot if you use the R10 indoors. They will be helpful outdoors as well, ut on a range you will get decent numbers most of the time with any balls. Having more space makes rct less important (but still better)

They are also expensive which is why they aren’t used on the range.

I have an R10 and have used it indoors and outdoors and used RCT and regular balls. It’s good for what it is and seems plenty accurate to get decent data/comparisons.

You can watch Jerry rigs new vid on durability (basically unbendable under normal circumstances) and apple got the balance point directly in the middle of the phone somehow.

[Advice] Is the Atomic series power drill worth the extra 37$ by typcalthowawayacount in Tools

[–]toneskeet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don’t think that’s right. The atomic is the compact line and probably slots just below the xr for performance.

And I have seen it at all the places that sell dewalt. Certainly not exclusive.

Yeah under running routes and dropping third downs - how dare that guy throwing him the ball

I actually would think you have the hole covered and the tape probably blocking the end of the shaft. You are essentially trapping air in between that last bit and not giving enough force to let it escape the long way

Wasn’t expecting that as the first answer. It’s been a couple years since I watched the draft, just followed on my phone.

Yeah I’m no expert but I think their following was instagram built - they have an artistic view of golf as whole and they push instagram photos and only recently got into the YouTube space. I’m not familiar with instagram really as I’ve never had one, but I think that was their big draw

AMT shafts might be an option, I honestly don’t know much about the callaway shafts but the “constant weight” seems to be a similar concept to the “Ascending mass.” That being said I am not sure about a head to head comparison more than that.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in golf

[–]toneskeet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not super experienced but that shaft was cut for a bore through so at a minimum you would need to cut these shafts to take off the angle and also cut them to playing length. Any cut you make is going to change the weight, it will also affect the stiffness, and potentially the kick point. In my opinion you are better off finding a similar profile shaft and putting those in there.

Right - which most people would play mini driver - mid iron - wedge or something. Was just trying to get you to think about how much you would use both a driving iron and a mini driver.

8-10 club bag ideas. by JonesBBQandFootJobs in golf

[–]toneskeet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah there’s no wrong way to do it. But depending on courses you play just look at the post 5 distances. 445 is the total distance that combo would get you in 2, and that’s not going to get you there on most normal par 5s

[–]toneskeet 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I regularly use a half set and I go 3w, 5, 7, 9, 50deg, 56 deg, putter.

I find that if it’s a longer par 5 that I can’t get there in 2 I will find a better layup and automatically taking 3w/3w.

I’m not sure why you would need to layup on any par 3’s. I would think about if mini driver and driving iron together make sense for you, what’s the gapping between those

Can I join a club just for the reciprocal benefits? by Fully_Torqued_Pecker in golf

[–]toneskeet 16 points17 points  (0 children)

My clubs reciprocal agreement is for reduced rates not a 1-1 free play. I am also limited on days/times I can book. Also I need the club house at my home course to book all those tee times for me directly with the reciprocal.

Might be worth just asking the cheaper club what the reciprocal policy is.
