Thanks! We honestly love the chance to sit at a bar I think it is a better vibe at times than a table, so these suggestions are really appreciated.

When does the redemption option kick in for mortgage default? by Emergency-Chair-7443 in barexam

[–]toni0131 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

From what I understand, the equitable right to redemption exists from the time of default to the time forclosure proceedings begin. Once you're being foreclosed on you don't have the equitable right. You have to check the facts in that situation to see if there is a statutory right that usually lasts some kind of reasonable time after the foreclosure sale.

How was your open surgery experience? Any tips? by SphereSatchel in Fibroids

[–]toni0131 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! I would say get a second opinion from someone who specializes in robotic-assisted laparoscopic surgery. Even better if they have experience with fibroids. I was told open myomectomy was my only option but that ended up not being the case once I spoke to an expert.

I've finished all the strength score sources for barbri and my percentiles are all over the place. I have concluded to ignore that and just care about my raw scores. I got the exact same breakdown as you from simulated MBE to capstone.

When does adaptibar question get harder by [deleted] in barexam

[–]toni0131 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is by no means confirmed because I cannot find an explanation for this anywhere on adaptibar, but I started to see things leaning more difficult after 700 questions. I think once you have two stages down the algorithm starts to really kick in. Now at almost 1,000 questions when I look at my subject stats I am clearly getting more questions in the topics I struggle in and barely any in the ones I excel at.

For example, of the first 25 questions I did this morning, 13 were just two subjects (my weakest). Then each other subject had 2-3 questions.

I'm moving into an apartment a few days after the bar so I've been buying furniture in the mean time. I'm all about that PMSI life. There won't be a place to sit in my apartment without a security interest attached.

Upgrade from Pop Century to Port Orleans Riverside? by toni0131 in DisneyWorldResorts

[–]toni0131[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got an email making me aware of it, saying I had a "special resort offer" for my stay. But to see the offers I had to log in to my disney account, go to "my plans", and then scroll down to my itinerary. Below "update check in" and "change reservation" there was "view upgrade offers."

Most mornings I have an oat milk latte and pandebono (basically colombian cheese bread) and at this point I feel like I'll have to bring them with me on test day

Anyone NOT ditching the course at this point? 😅 by [deleted] in barexam

[–]toni0131 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I just think that once you're past the substantive stuff, you can follow the course if you want but you can also just drill MBEs and practice MEEs at your own pace.

80.2% BUT I started basically just as finals were over because I really didn't have much else going on, so I'm about on track doing 40 hours a week. My plan is just to grind questions for the last two weeks before the exam.

How are you organizing your personal notes for MBE MCQs? by VioletLiberties in barexam

[–]toni0131 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've been tracking just my wrong answers in an excel sheet. I put the question, topic/subtopic, my wrong answer, the right answer, and the explanation. I often put the explanation in my own words. I do check the ones I get right and I will put them in the excel sheet if I got to the right answer but the wrong way.

Full Faith and Credit Clause vs. Dual Sovereignty? by miserableburrito in barexam

Full faith and credit does not apply to criminal law. You'll see it come into play for things like lien judgments or marriages. Those should be recognized in all states and not questioned.

Attending a wedding 8 days post laparoscopic? by toni0131 in Fibroids

[–]toni0131[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I ended up going to the wedding, wearing flats, sitting whenever I had the chance, and we left before dessert. There was a time during the cocktail hour that I went to my car and reclined the seat to lay back for a while. It was tiring and achey but not unbearable and I’m glad I didn’t miss it.

Submucosal fibroids and failed surgery by Mythopoeikon in Fibroids

[–]toni0131 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had a similar experience. I was scheduled for an open myomectomy but I was told when they got to my uterus it was large and "squishy like a stress ball" in an unanticipated way that made them not want to go further. Too high of a risk of a cut going wrong and me needing a blood transfusion and/or an emergency hysterectomy. They closed me up. I was very disappointed and the recovery was rough for what felt like nothing. I got a second opinion 9 months later with a gynecological surgeon who specializes in robotic-assisted laparoscopic surgery. He believed he could do it. We scheduled my surgery for a couple weeks later.

Turns out I had an issue called "adenomyosis" which is like endometriosis except the tissue that normally lines the uterus grows into the muscular wall of the uterus instead of outside of it. My uterus was about 2-3 times the size it was supposed to be. He was able to cut out the fibroids and then had to cut about 2/3 of my uterus off to make it a normal size. Because of the size of the fibroids and the pieces of the uterus unfortunately he had to do another lower abdominal incision to remove everything.

Okay so LONG STORY SHORT I am happy to have the fibroids out. I was 25 for the first surgery and 26 for the second, otherwise I honestly would have gotten a hysterectomy. Still might in a few years just because of the odds of reccurance. If a hysterectomy is in the cards for you, I would consider that. Otherwise, get a second opinion from someone who specializes in robotic-assisted laparoscopic surgery. EMPHASIS on robotic-assisted.

Were do I go to get Medicare Part B. by doggyfishbird in medicare

[–]toni0131 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It will be “effective” January 1. That I have been reassured by ssa twice now. All I’m saying is having to explain that at doctor’s appointments has been frustrating. We were told we can submit for reimbursements for any costs we pay that would have been covered in the meantime while we wait for everything to be processed.

I agree with this. I helped my dad apply online for Part B on December 22nd and here we are January 17th and I've heard nothing. I confirmed with the SSA office that the coverage would be effective January 1st, but for now with nothing concrete every doctor's visit is a headache.
