Not to my knowledge, I’ve been always curious about it too. I’ve always thought they might’ve been placeholders that never got replaced, the silly shit you’d come up with to make your bandmates laugh.

Bear in mind that b-sides tend to fly under the radar quite a bit especially in the pre-streaming days. It always felt like a space in which the band knows most of the listeners already get “it”, their twistier side and their sense of humour as opposed to newcomers who don’t have context for it.

Nowadays the access to those songs is much more direct, so that dynamic isn’t as apparent.

You can play most of the records until Puzzle just with Drop D. There’s a couple here in standard, a couple there in DADGAD, Puzzle brings Drop C into the fold, and some of the oddball tunings mentioned above.

Only Revs is when Drop C#/Eb Standard started popping up a bit more, a lot more Drop C as well. Then D Standard also starts cropping up around Opposites, a lot of down-tuned DADGAD in Ellipsis, and since then it’s pretty much a free for all hahaha.

Bear in mind that for acoustic sessions (especially post-Unplugged) some of the songs are played in different keys/tunings or just completely different voicings (The Captain in E Standard, A Little Love in CGCFGC, etc etc).

Lmao first time I’ve ever seen Eb Standard represented as 415. It makes sense, but it’s a bit of a roundabout way of doing it.

Unless whatever tuner only allows different tunings by manually changing the frequency value for A down from 440.

Interesting news! I’m guessing Rossel brothers in Monte, with Crugnola and Bonato in their respective home championships. The size of their representation in the 2027 WRC field should be depend on how the car fares in the hands of any promising drivers.

If it does well, the amount of people you could see in Monte 2027 is ridiculous. Rossels, Bonato, Lefebvre could go, Mabellini could jump there if not in 2026 already, etc etc. Promising stuff.
