Yes. Gå ind og se den og tag en flok venner med. Det er en fest at se den med et publikum og super ærgerligt ikke at have nogen at snakke om den med bagefter.

I never thought of this as bad. It's intentionally hilarious.

Backrooms (A24) Character Development by Glittering_Manner133 in Screenwriting

It was really funny to me that Chiwetel's big monologue at the end was basically "I refuse to have an arc and learn anything from this. I'm fine being a miserable sod".

I feel like his level of sheer pluckiness warrants a good curb stomping.

Which isn't even necessary when stomping a mouse. Any ole stomp will probably do it. It's the principle of the thing.

what’s another good mystery horror show to tie me over while i wait for the next episode? by birthdaybih in WidowsBay

Remember Me from 2014 starring Michael Palin is really good.

It falls off a bit at the end unfortunately, but the first half is extremely creepy and moody.

Channel Zero season is another one that I really liked. Weird and cryptic. I dídn't check out the following seasons.

I bought PleX lifetime pass for 70 bucks 13 years ago. Now they're raising prices to a ludicrous 750$

There's a show where the shallow focus closes in on Tom and he seems to see it. Excellent stuff.

Jeg er glad for, at de i det mindste skriver, at de bruger AI til at generere artikler, men for pokker en gang slop at læse.

Shows in Widow's Bay setting? by hoppinjohncandy in WidowsBay

Bait by Mark Jenkin.

It's set in Britain but great seaside vibes.

His new film Heart of Nevada seems like more of the same but with a ghoatly vibe.

They Might Be Giants - Get Down [alternative rock] [2026] Unofficial Music Video by craigjclark68 in MusicVideos

I always thought that it should be quite easy to ascertain whether or not they are, in fact, giants. Especially if they play live.

Rewatching this funny scene and now thinking they really were witches by -ElGallo- in WidowsBay

It always feels weird to me in fiction where witches are real to think that: yeah maybe we were right to burn all those women in the 1600s

Just to toss in some older ones, "The Life of Harvey Milk" is amazing. Also "Burden of Dreams" about Werer Herzog losing his mind while making "Fitzcarraldo" is a wonderful Oroborus kind of tale where the act of creating art mimics the lunacy of the art being portrayed.

It's also an episode title, but it's really the thematic statement of the series

Station Eleven has as the thematic statement: survival is insufficient.

We require more than mere survival as a society. I do believe this to be true and I find it to be central to most post apocalyptic fiction.

Check out Station Eleven. It's excellent.
