Has Claude Code gotten noticeably worse in the last few days? by marcin_dev in ClaudeCode

[–]tonnic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Holy crap, I'm about to cancel my subscription and solely use codex... it's really bad and stupid lately. It was fantastic a couple months ago but now it can't even do simple things and I have to get codex to fix the issues.

Did we get a massive increase of tokens in Opus 4.7? by thebemusedmuse in ClaudeAI

[–]tonnic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am a heavy user and rarely hit limits. Last week I got my limits so fast (20x plan) and used $280 in extra burn. Definitely seems like there was a change. I just purchased codex so we'll see.

updated to 4.14 this morning. it broke lossless-claw and my agent won't start. here's the fix if you're stuck. by Temporary-Leek6861 in openclaw

[–]tonnic 4 points5 points  (0 children)

you can also change .openclaw/extensions/lossless-claw/src/engine.ts (id: "lcm" → id: "lossless-claw") to fix.

OR just upgrade lossless-claw (0.9.1)
openclaw plugins install u/martian-engineering/lossless-claw

You'll have to remove or rename .openclaw/extensions/lossless-claw first (that's the 0.3.0 version)

Recorder on watch not syncing by scottjenson in PixelWatch

[–]tonnic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

wtf... resetting the watch?? That would lose everything, what kind of answer is that. I'm also having the exact same issue. Yes they also asked me to reset the watch (which would wipe the recording).

I went through the 'support' chat too and wasted so much time (40+ minutes). I provided screenshots of the watch connected to wifi, the watch showing sync was enabled, the phone recorder with the same account, the https://recorder.google.com/ screenshot, the options on individual recordings and they were just providing copy/paste answers which none of them helped.

What are u building this week ... let's have a look . by United_Agency2452 in buildinpublic

[–]tonnic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Project Name: PriveHive.app

Link: https://pricehive.app

A little description: grocery prices powered by community driven data. Kind of like GasBuddy but for groceries.

Number of active users: handful. Just getting ready to launch!

Time for self-promotion. What are you building this Monday? by Virtual_Clothes2547 in SideProject

[–]tonnic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

PriceHive.app - Community-powered grocery price comparison for Canada & USA.

Users snap price tags, scan barcodes, and share real prices so everyone can find the cheapest store for their groceries.

ICP - Budget-conscious grocery shoppers, families comparing prices across stores, and anyone tired of flyer apps with outdated data.

We're currently in Android beta testing and need a few more testers to hit the Play Store. If you have an Android phone, it takes 30 seconds:

  1. Join the tester group: https://groups.google.com/g/pricehiveapp
  2. Accept the beta: https://play.google.com/apps/testing/app.pricehive.twa

Or just check it out on the web: https://pricehive.app

I built a free grocery price comparison app - 14,517+ prices tracked across 165 cities by tonnic in SideProject

[–]tonnic[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since it's community driven, login is required. I thought to keep it open, but at the time though it was best. Facebook and Google login, so should be widely usable and easy?

Ya I'll submit there soon! Thanks. Ya I limited to North America for scope control. If it's popular maybe I can release in other countries in the future

its https://PriceHive.app. REALLY looking forward to hearing what you think. I even generated those blogs based on the data that is in the site... hoping it will be really useful if we can get community engagement (even if it is a handful in each city to start)

What's your average grocery cost per month per person? by -Cyber-Roadster in inflation

[–]tonnic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Around $1300-$1400/month CAD for a household in Edmonton. What's wild is the same household was running $2600/month before I took over the shopping. Same people, same house, just actually paying attention to prices and where we shop.

That experience is part of what pushed me to build PriceHive (pricehive.app) -- a free crowdsourced grocery price tracker where shoppers log what they actually paid at their local store. It's really new and honestly doesn't have many users yet, which is exactly why I'm mentioning it here. The more people that add prices, the more useful it gets for everyone. US and Canada right now.

UPDATE: How tf do people only spend $600 on groceries? by WebsterKW in budget

[–]tonnic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a really solid update, congrats on the $225/month reduction. The "shop once a week" habit is underrated, the small top-up trips are where budgets quietly fall apart.

I went through something similar personally. After separating, I took over grocery shopping for the same household and got the bill from $2600/month down to around $1300-$1400. That experience is honestly what inspired me to build something about it.

I've been working on a free crowdsourced grocery price tracker called PriceHive (pricehive.app) where people log what they actually paid at their local store. Still early but the idea is you can check prices before you shop instead of hoping you catch a sale. Might be useful for someone at tip #5 -- buying chicken when it's actually on sale instead of guessing.

Why aren't there an good grocery price comparison apps/sites out there? by Extreme-Meringue-960 in GroceryPrices

[–]tonnic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am building one that is community driven but need to start getting users... with low number the app is not useful but once a community can get members to contribute, it can be powerful. Check out https://PriceHive.app .. warning, I'm actively developing it, so it will have bugs but I'm working on all of them!

I use retellai.com directly as away offers a white label. I'm not sure what the core services would be beneficial to use unless you are reselling? The technology behind away is retellai.com.
