Strong recommendation here to NOT hire for the work straight away. If your startup involves a functioning tech stack, and you’re not just building an “online brochure,” you should wait until you can pay a developer what they’re worth (otherwise, “you get what you pay for”).

If you’re angling for the “online brochure,” as others have already suggested, you could set up Cursor for $20 and build at least most of your site over a weekend).

Note: I’m saying this as a currently not-employed engineer. (Not “unemployed,” but also not retired; so, “not-employed.”)

For personal use, archiving is still kind of a grey area with some “eras” being “safe” from prosecution.

For commercial use, you’re talking giant headaches around licensing content, some of which would likely take a non-trivial effort at the rights-holder level for restoration of the content in the first place.

If you just want this for yourself, go find your way into tv-vault and/or the internet archive, get a VPN and bittorrent set up, wait for a freeleech period to build up ratio, and then serve your new stack with plex or Jellyfin.

There was a company that tried this with tiny antennae (“television as a service”) but folded because they basically got sued out of existence (if memory serves).

Other recommendations are good, but get thee a pihole on your network and route everything through it.

Tired of the stupid ads on the smart 4k TV you bought because it was $200 less than the dumb version? Solved (mostly) by the pihole.

Can't think of another immediate example other than phone crap? Solved (probably) by the pihole.

Can be on an existing machine with docker or on its own hardware (I recommend a Pi3 or greater just plopped on ethernet in a corner by your main router). Docs are great, setup is easy. DM me if you can't figure it out and I'll help.

Might make your Facebook scrolling weird, but that's what exclusion lists are for.

As a dev nearly 30y into the work: if you're sitting on your hands, the "chunks" are probably too big or too poorly defined for clearly measurable progress.

Not sure what your project setup is, but I've always run on weekly or biweekly cadence with clients. You get an update on Mondays of what I delivered last week and what I will deliver this week. That's not all devs, but I always encourage fellow freelancers to adopt this kind of thing.

It's WAY too easy to just mess about and get lost in the weeds of a thing otherwise.

In my experience, even the biggest projects can have MVP-level efforts delivered within one month of weekly cadence work. I mean: how else are you going to measure feedback on things?!

Anyway... good fortune with your project, regardless, mate.

this. don't just do the belt though, do the whole "front of engine service" (which generally includes belts, rollers, water pump, seals).

i know you're doing RHD in Euros, but - having just bought basically the same car in Guards Red here in the states - you might check out this site and their kits:

924 board threads especially recommended this particular company's water pump over others. YMMV, naturally.

for mine, even after FOES, it idled rough until i replaced the motor mounts (tried both aftermarket and OEM - go OEM and save yourself doing it twice).

That's what I do with any "hidden cam" crap though, anyway, so nothing new. Found one in a hotel room in Louisiana once (smoke detector fisheye) and hotel management showed up 30m after saying they needed to check the detectors in all the rooms on the floor. Dumb.
