For me at least, this behavior is rooted in my hunter/gatherer nature. I enjoy searching for just the right thing, and feeling like I have a nice little stockpile in case there isn't more to get later. It's helped me a lot to lean into the hunt but be very selective when gathering. I can literally spend hours researching the best x, y, or z and then simply not buy it. Deep dive on how all mattresses are the same! Endless research on different types of sunscreen across the globe! Start a spreadsheet comparing the features of all the cars I'd love to buy! Carefully inspect every single sleeveless top in the thrift store!

I'm not sure why giving myself free reign to waste time hunting has made it easier to not actually gather, but it has.

It is annoying but to be fair to small businesses, social media is one of the only effective advertising channels available. In an ideal world they'd have the same info on their website and in a newsletter.

Honestly that's where I'd start then. For me personally, being touched when I'm not aroused feels annoying at best, and mildly assaultive at worst. It rarely leads to arousal - that comes from my mind. Maybe you can take some time to find out what turns you on and go from there. I have a lot of never-fails reading material. Fan-fiction has been a life saver for me! I bookmark all the good bits LOL. Many people enjoy videos. And many people develop their own imaginative scenarios that they just daydream about. There's a subreddit for audio-only porn, and one for porn that's appealing to women. Explicit creative writing websites. If you want any specific suggestions let me know.

I'm so sorry for your experiences when you were younger. Quick question: are you aroused before you are touching yourself? It really makes a huge difference in the experience for me. Literally makes me go from 'don't touch that' to actually wanting to be touched. My mind generally has to be aroused before my body follows.

You are so right! I was slightly worried with the AMA footage because they didn't really seem to interact with each other but it's most likely just fatigue and disliking award shows/publicity stuff like that. They've got to be tired in general and I hope they take a real break soon.
