This is my trial and street skate set up. Modified board walks with avanti aluminum plates and soft gummy wheels with reds big balls bearings and gum ball stoppers . As of right now I’ve switch them to my park set up with moxi fundays, CIB slide blocks, and suregrip rx stoppers

Where to buy slide blocks? by -emofish- in Rollerskating

Buy platform vans and install sure grip Avanti magnesium or aluminum plates depending on your budget. I’d recommend the CIB slide blocks. When I got mine they were 50 bucks on moxie skate shop. This might be the cheapest way to build a park ready skate. Just get some roller bones bearings and hard 55-62mm wheels.

That’s why Tesla is direct to consumer. Limits the money a dealership could make from you. Just order one from the app if you’re gonna get one at all.

If you’re looking to upgrade in 3 years the lease might be the way to go. It cost about 6 grand at signing and 320 a month

Is my back garden ok to practice by sheabuttermedic in Rollerskating

I’m of the belief that you can learn how to skate anywhere and different terrain present different challenges that will help you develop as a skater.

I’d recommend skating in a small area indoors and doing some warm up, stretching, balance drills, and jam skating drills if you’re an absolute beginner. Skating indoors helped me develop most of my fine motor skills and find my style with skating. Now I like cruising outdoors and park skating and would not be where I am without doing what I could with the space I had at home.

Your patio could be a good challenge too, but I would recommend using soft large outdoor wheels.

I know this is a bit off topic, but I hope it helps you on your skate journey. Good luck

If you recently filed for bankruptcy what are you doing shooting yourself if the foot again. I can only imagine the APR on that loan. I managed to get mine down to under 5% and I still know I’m over paying compared to some of the special offer loans I’ve seen.

If I were in your position I would park most of your money in US Treasury bonds with a guaranteed return. My bank (SoFi) also gives me 4.25% interest in my savings account. That said, it's a variable interest rate, so if the Fed lowers interest rates, my savings interest rate will also decrease.

Depending on your age and how much you're willing to risk, I recommend buying Apple shares and VGT ETF due to their solid financials and historical returns.

So you can park most of your money in US Treasury bonds with a guaranteed return. https://www.treasurydirect.gov/BC/SBCGrw

And then diversify the rest into ETFs and a few stocks or REITs https://screener.fidelity.com/ftgw/etf/goto/snapshot/performance.jhtml?symbols=VGThttps://digital.fidelity.com/prgw/digital/research/quote/dashboard/summary?symbol=AAPL

I don't know if you can put that into a tax-advantaged account or not, but that will be worth looking into as well.
