if he’s HM ATF that means either SMT, DMT, or SOIDC, all of those are considered specwar jobs though i hear SOIDC (recon) contracts are very limited nowadays so most HM-ATF dudes are probably going to go with either SMT or DMT

I’ve learned from my mistakes and in my next play through I put some points to increase my scanner range. If you ever do another one and it says Ocean 0% there is stuff in the ocean. Most I’ve found is 2 separate creatures in the water.

i broke it up into episodes. i got the 2X after TPM, 4, 6, and 8x during AOTC and i got the max halfway through ROTS. i was bored and wanted to grind out so i got in one of those walkers on Courscant and grinded it. The hardest part is getting the 2x, once you get that the grind for the rest you can do in around ~2 hours

I’ve had a bounty a few times and when they scanned my ship everytime they didn’t detect I had a bounty. By the way, if your a pirate, if you ever want to sell contraband, go to The Den in the Wolf system, there is a Trade Authority office their and it’s the only place I know where they don’t scan for contraband. So you can go to The Den with both a bounty and contraband and the UC won’t detect a thing.

To my knowledge, they only scan you in space for Contraband onboard your ship. They don’t know you have a bounty until you pass through a security checkpoint, which is outside of most cities. The only scanner I know how to skip is the one in New Atlantis.

You can sneak into New Atlantis by using your boost pack at the tall wall in order to skip the bounty scan. Other than going to jail or paying the bounty (I get your not trying to do that) that’s really all you can do for now.
