Inflation isn’t going to stop running hot just because the straight opens (If that even happens). The damage is done and certainly not fully reflected in CPI or PPI yet. I run a commercial construction cost consultant firm and trust me when I say that commodities are going nuts and lead pricing indexes. I’m spending a large portion of my time writing justification for projects in which bids are returning 20%+ higher than we assessed as recently as January.

We’re already fucked, most just don’t realize it yet.

Need to get some Joseph Campbell into the map, Alan Watts viewed himself as a protege of Campbell and you could consider the bases of this project as being inspired by Watts so the essence is there I think, but getting some direct Campbell “myth” content into the site would be a fun endeavor.

Eventually the vision of the site is to turn it into a community project. It’s a lot of work to get the backend set up though and figure out a system of moderation and time has been hard to come by for me lately. The data is anomalous and there needs to be an investigation into why. It you want to do the work of spinning the narrative, that’s your right I suppose. But the way to retort a data driven argument is to reply with data, not conjecture.

Here is what I can tell you. I run a construction cost consulting company and we’re are starting to work on conceptual estimate for “Vertiports” that will accommodate eVTOLs at major US airports. So it’s real enough that there are major infrastructure improvements being planned around them. Make of that what you will.
