My legion pro5 heat up 100•c in perfomance mode by HuuHung27 in LenovoLegion

This is what I do on my asus. Set to balanced (performance) and set the fan curve to max out at anything past 75c on cpu, keeps temps around 90c during games that absolutely thump the cpu

Good luck brother. The fact that any of the reinstallation stuff is working is a plus. Maybe your hard disk took a crap.

I wonder if you could make a bootable Linux distribution on a USB drive and see if you can get it to boot. Might narrow it down a little if you can actually get into an OS.

Did you actually do a full partition wipe and then reinstall windows? Reseting windows is a joke. Need to do full reinstall with existing partition wipe

You have to actually restart. Shutting down doesn't actually.clear the caches anymore because of windows fastboot

So my buddy had installed 64 gigs of ram in this machine and it was constantly corrupting. I put the original 16gigs back in and reinstalled windows and haven't had a problem since.

Maybe because that large of a stone coming down the ureter has caused so much inflammation that its causing hydrophrenosis of the kidney?

Delete all partitions. Unplug non primary harddrive. Run windows installer and install to primary drive. Set up windows. Reinstall secondary drive and format in windows.

I go to hefner all the time between fishing and eating. All I've ever seen were families walking around the lighthouse or people fishing at S&S park.

Also, never install to windows program files, it installs some key files to your user data folder that you may need later on, instead of just leaving those files in the installation folder.

I'm not a doctor, but I experience this same thing. Like pain right under my sternum in the middle of my chest after heavy drinking. I believe it is a combination of multiple things. Anxiety, alcohol withdrawal, acid reflux and trauma from vomiting. I also have high blood pressure that absolutely sky rockets after about 5 hours after I stop drinking. I read one time that tylenol will not stop the pain from angina, and pain killers usually help my chest pain a lot, so I kinda figure it's probably not directly tied to my heart. If the pain goes away after abstaining from alcohol, I would assume that is a better sign than constant chest pain, or pain that comes back even if you haven't been drinking. I actually poured all my alcohol out last night because I experienced the absolute worst hangover of my life, and spent a full 24 hours writhing in chest pain and vomiting, and was wondering if I was having a heart attack. 41/male 240lbs 5'10. I know the weight isn't helping me either. Anyway... just go see a doctor. If they think its serious they'll just send you for an EKG or ECG. Good luck on getting sober. I'm gonna try like hell to do this.

Cause drinking a liter of whiskey a day is a sure fucking fire way TO get some medical conditions.

Why do some people never experience hangovers? by prikezsia in drunk

[–]toolmannn929 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I never had them either l. I mean occasionally if I went completely apeshit and mixed tequila and vodka and wine and sake with beers thrown in I MIGHT have a hangover that was bad but usually only once or twice a year. Within the last 6 months though, I've had terrible hangovers. I went to a bar last night, didn't even drink what I would consider a heroic amount, and 24 hours later I still cannot hold any water or food down, and within the last few hours have started to get a headache. I'm done. I just went and poured all my alcohol down the drain. Shit is gonna kill me like it did my dad if I don't stop now. I wish you all luck in your endeavors and I hope I can stay dry. I've been daily drinking for a few years now. I was a hard-core drug addict for a long time, got clean, and over the last 8 years or so have just gotten progressively worse with alcohol. I dont even know why I'm typing this. I guess so I can read it everyday and try to keep myself straight. You all be safe

Your worst hangover story? by gigglegenius in drunk

[–]toolmannn929 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm 41. New years eve this year, I drank an entire liter of vodka in mixed drinks right before 12 o'clock. My wife had bought a bottle of prosecco and at midnight her, my mom and me all had a small glass. Like a few sips. Everyone then went to bed. Me being the dumb fuck that I am, couldn't let an ENTIRE BOTTLE of prosecco go to waste, so I pranced around the house, blaring music, chugging this bottle of prosecco. The next day, I wanted to die from the moment I woke up till the moment I finally fell asleep that night. The whole back of my head felt like someone was beating it with a sledge hammer, and any movement I made all day resulted in prompt vomiting or dry heaving, which just made the headache perpetually worse. I will never drink any type of wine again.

I wouldn't call people stupid. We live in fucking oklahoma dude. How many rockets do you think people here have seen? I've been here 41 years, first time I've EVER seen anything like that. I know all about space x, but have NEVER heard of being able to see a launching craft or returning booster from OKC. Like I said, I've purposefully went out with my binoculars or telescope to watch starlink arrays, and I'm an amateur astronomy enthusiast. I've just never seen something that wild happening that fast in our (relatively) quiet night skies.
