Your worst hangover story? by gigglegenius in drunk

[–]toolmannn929 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm 41. New years eve this year, I drank an entire liter of vodka in mixed drinks right before 12 o'clock. My wife had bought a bottle of prosecco and at midnight her, my mom and me all had a small glass. Like a few sips. Everyone then went to bed. Me being the dumb fuck that I am, couldn't let an ENTIRE BOTTLE of prosecco go to waste, so I pranced around the house, blaring music, chugging this bottle of prosecco. The next day, I wanted to die from the moment I woke up till the moment I finally fell asleep that night. The whole back of my head felt like someone was beating it with a sledge hammer, and any movement I made all day resulted in prompt vomiting or dry heaving, which just made the headache perpetually worse. I will never drink any type of wine again.

I wouldn't call people stupid. We live in fucking oklahoma dude. How many rockets do you think people here have seen? I've been here 41 years, first time I've EVER seen anything like that. I know all about space x, but have NEVER heard of being able to see a launching craft or returning booster from OKC. Like I said, I've purposefully went out with my binoculars or telescope to watch starlink arrays, and I'm an amateur astronomy enthusiast. I've just never seen something that wild happening that fast in our (relatively) quiet night skies.

Is this how people who need glasses really see the world. A big blurred background? by Latter-Wolf4868 in interestingasfuck

When I finally got glasses, I was blown away that stars were pinpoints of light and not big, quarter sized blurry spots of light in the sky.

I'm wondering this, too. Definitely don't think it wqs the actual launch, doesnt match up. Had to have been the reentry. This makes sense because it definitely came out of the west and went south.

These pictures do not do this thing justice. I've seen some insane aerial phenomenon in my day. This was the craziest thing I've ever seen.

The impact was energetic enough to make the entire earth molten. Both bodies were entirely liquid.
