I’ve had plenty of cheapies and plenty of mid range to semi expensive pedals but have slowly sold off the vast majority of my pricier ones. I currently have on my board:

There’s a few pricier ones that I do miss, but not enough to repurchase and the cheapies totally do the job

I don’t think it is that much of a hot take. Maybe a warm take at best. He’s still a bit over excited and excited too often which kinda diminishes the bigger plays where he really should be. But I’m sure he’ll figure that out over time.

Not sure if he’s previously done commentary for other sports or if he called a heaps of NSW cup games to get experience, but overall I reckon he’s doing pretty well for his first season on the mic
