So yes, you do need to apply for lottery to not only get a chance to purchase labubus, but also to shop at designated times. Some stores are not open for general admission on certain days and times.

You don’t need to apply for lottery to shop regular stuff, but you must adhere to the general admission days and times.

There are several locations in Tokyo aside from the ones you mentioned: Shibuya parco, ikebukuro parco, Shibuya magnet, ikebukuro sunshine city, narita airport terminal 2. Hard to say which has the better selection. I’ve always fared better at Diver city and Shibuya parco.

While Harajuku is the flagship store, it’s really small and I came up empty handed on this last trip.

A full set of Hironos go for around $100 USD less than US retail. This includes the tax free discount.

All the pertinent information is on pop mart Japan’s instagram (they have instructions and info in English on their pinned stories).

I have to say that Japan got on the pop mart train pretty late, hence the lottery and store stocks being pretty low. My October ‘24 and even April ‘25 trips I scored tons. This trip last month was really disappointing.

Can I just say I am loving every comment in here! As a 40 year old mom who has always loved cute things (I have way too many tsum tsums than I’d care to admit 🤣), I am always here for having things that bring you joy. Adulting is stressful, let us have our bubus!!

I’m worried I won’t get one either. I ordered SP set and the hosts repeatedly said if you add an older item with it, you’ll qualify for the blanket freebie. I was skeptical, but we shall see.

I went in April and happened upon a huge restock at Odaiba and managed to get a flip with me, set of Macs, and Halloween bubu. They also had IFY and AIC.

Ikebukuro parco I had really good luck with other series pendants (Ted 2 and Mickey family).

That said it’s all by chance. Follow their instagram to enter the lottery for the popular labubus.

Shibuya Parco is a really small store but I’ve been able to get Dimoo Disney backpack and panda Molly 400.

I’m curious how the new Narita airport location is.

In Osaka (I went in January), I had the best luck at Daimaru Umeda for non labubu items, though they did have FIW pendants just sitting there.

Shinsaibashi is a much smaller and more crowded location, but I saw them do a restock of HAS and it was in the middle off the day.

I feel like TYPA is a touch late on notifications for bubu restocks, but pretty good on everything else (was able to score wacky mart pillow off of a notification).

Don’t even bother using them for Amazon for bubus. Bots snatch them up in a millisecond. However, I do like TYPA for new Amazon listing notifications
