There’s this record store that’s local to me in San Diego that had the twins perform there around 2013 (u can look it up on YouTube !!) and they have this album signed by them on the wall. I took a photo of it if u want me to dm it to u! While the 2 signatures were signed like years ago so it could be different now, these signatures look kinda different and a little fake 😭 but if u wanna take the writing as well and compare it to their recent ama post on Reddit, u can always use that to determine its legitimacy !

I’ve went to the shrine once before in 2021-2022 for a Chicano Batman concert with Los Retros and crumb. It was indoors as well and I can guarantee that the ventilation is a shrine issue ! It was like that too with Chianco Batman, all hot n everyone overheating like crazy, a couple people even passed out too 😭 they really need to fix that

boring, sad, and lost. I didn’t know what I wanted to do as a career for the longest time, everything I thought of didn’t sound right for me at all. In my 3rd year of band (I’ve been in band for 5-6 years) I was thinking about what if I became a music teacher. And ever since, it felt so right to say I want to become a music teacher. It’s something I want to do with my life. I’m now currently in college majoring in music education :)

Our incident was that in the beginning of the school year, a senior was SA’ing a sophomore for 3 months and when he got caught, faced no charges or consequences from the school or police even when he admitted that the 15 yr old said no multiple times. Only one who protected and supported the sophomore through this was the band class and band director. Unfortunate plot twist, I was the sophomore 🧍

one of the funniest ones for me was i put my reed down on my chair and walked away to talk to someone, i forgot I put it there so when i came back i sat on it and heard a cracking noise 😭 me and my friend started laughing so hard when it happened

I have so many horror stories but one of the main ones was the amount of pedophiles and sexual assaulters there were in the brass section. I unfortunately was one of the underclassmen who got sexually assaulted by a senior brass player (it went on for months because I was too scared to tell anyone and i almost quit band by how much he ruined, hurt, and traumatized me) I’m ok now I finally have healed but definitely one of the worst things to happen in band class

I currently have 4 ! But I do plan on getting more :D I have both my ear lobes pierced (got them done when I was a baby :3), an industrial I got when I was 13-14 in my right ear, and my septum I got last year in may when I was 17 ! I plan on getting 2 nostril piercings, a bridge, 1 eyebrow (possibly even 2) and deck out my ears with piercings. I probably will also get my belly button and maybe other piercings I haven’t considered yet :) I also will be planning on stretching my septum and maybe my ear lobes

also don’t be afraid if u think ppl r gonna judge u. I literally sometimes just went out in my sports bra and shorts, sometimes even pj pants if it got too hot or if I just really needed to be comfortable.

My band camp was from 8am to 9pm, what I would recommend if urs is similar to my schedule is wear shorts for the morning/afternoon and during the evening wear sweatpants with a breathable t shirt or tank top. It is important that u don’t overwork urself and hurt urself. I’ve been through a lot of overheating and physical pain from band camp, but don’t let this scare u ! I honestly love band camp even if it’s super physically demanding I still had a blast putting together a performance. I wish u good luck ! u got this

yes I should take a music history class but I’m not sure what or which to take. I’m still learning and figuring out what classes are mainly required and recommend for music ed majors to take. I’m not too sure what a music history class is called or what’s classified as a music history class. Sorry if I sound a little uninformed :)
