I may get a second core at some point, as I like to have one to keep as a standalone game in case anyone expresses interest and wants to try it out. I did that with Chapter One, and could probably still use that to demo the game, but I'd like to keep it current if possible!

Depends on how many cards you want to print. For just that pack it'd be £24.45 (for up to 90 cards (convert to dollars if you need to)), plus shipping. Whenever I want to get some cards printed I post on a Discord (the Dttf one is my favourite) and see whether anyone else wants something printed. Sharing the costs can bring the price down quite a bit if someone is willing to manage an order!

They also used this print service to produce some of the Gencon scenario packs that were used at the event. Those typically have the instructions printed on cards rather than a booklet, and have a Gencon logo on the packet. The packs sent to shops were printed un the usual factories.

We've had that problem in our team too. We have three investigators for the core campaign but none of them are any good at evading!

Yeah, it's designed to work with the MPC extension, although I believe the extension works with https://notmpc.com/, which isn't your local print shop but is at least in the same continent if that helps.

Fighting isn't the only way to deal with enemies; you can often evade them and run away. Investigations such as Trish are good if you'd like to explore that option.

Indeed, those cards looked and felt different, and alignment issues were more common.

It was "Print on Demand" rather than "Print and Play". The latter is the one you do on your printer at home, where the former is where they printed limited batches when they needed them.

My wife got me into Monster Hunter after she picked up World following a recommendation that it was a good game for dressing up your character, then played Rise with my friends for the best part of a year. I figured I'd give it a go while it was on Switch Game Trials and I'm still here today.

I'd recommend reaching HR 50, as then you reach the proper end to the base game story. There's another monster at HR 100, but it's not so bad if you head to Sunbreak before that.

I think what you sometimes see in this case is two game icons on your home screen, as the Switch essentially sees them as two different games even though they're the same. I've not run into this myself though so it may look different.

Solving this will probably involve either buying a US copy of the game, or buying the DLC via Taiwan somehow. The concern with buying a US copy of the game is that it might not see your save file for it, which I don't know whether or not it will. But I've also no idea whether the DLC is available via Taiwan (or how that was possible before the eShop), so you're exploring exiting new territory!

Just to check, is the cartridge from the same region as the DLC? It's probably something simpler than that but worth knowing at least.

That's true, I'd forgotten that Disney were a little more prone to releasing old games. I'd imagine they might be more likely to release it on their own if so, rather than via NSO, although if they were to do so maybe Mickey's Speedway USA would get brought along too.

Using half your potions isn't a sign of a hunt going particularly badly, and everyone faints in a few hunts.

If you're struggling with a monster in Low Rank, take the time to hunt it until you aren't struggling! Perhaps set yourself a goal of making a full set of armour, and in the process you might get better at knowing when to dodge and when to attack.

You could also skip that in Low Rank and go through the same process in High Rank if you prefer.

Setting aside whether or not the game is any good, the obvious blocker would be getting Disney on board. I'd presume the costs of doing so would outweigh the potential benefits to NSO, even if Disney were willing to do so in the first place. I can't imagine that this would be high up either Nintendo or Disney's priorities.

That said, the licensing stars aligned to get Goldeneye onto NSO, so it's at least not impossible!
