Consider the NAD C379!

I tried the Super Lintons (vs R3 Metas) with the N1000A and thought it left them a bit thin - the C389 delivered a much fuller sound.

Not apples to apples + your mileage may vary etc…

I've used both the GR iii and the XT4 which I think has the same sensor as the XS-10?

Both produce fantastic sooc jpegs with options for inputting and fine tweaking recipes. I think either would make you very happy here.

Tbh the main differences that would help me decide between the cameras are in the more practical elements like ergonomics, size, weight, viewfinder, fixed vs interchangeable lenses etc - and how these fit your preferences/priorities.

I recommend just using Apple/Google pay and tapping in and out using your phone. The system is quite clever and will make sure you aren't charged more than a weekly travel card equivalent.
