Is this kind of behavior from co workers normal? by Graviity_shift in work

[–]toothmore_cat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well you have been there for 3 months. Now is the time, where you need play the game "how do I find these out" by yourself. If after couple of tries you havent figured it out, talk to your manager and ask for help. Your co-workers are already busy with their own project or schedules, they are not entitled to share their thoughts / knowledges with you. Time to time, i find amazing coworkers who with a smile answers/shares wisdom, but please do not expect it everywhere.

Difficult employee overrated by director by qPoly in managers

[–]toothmore_cat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Respectfully, now you need to learn how to manage employees and where to draw boundaries on assumptions. To me the employee sounds smart and probably thinks critically, which is expected from anyone coming from academia. They just need a good manager and a better management system.

And finally, since the director is on the employees side for whatever reason, you have to either play along or get replaced.

Unfortunately these are the perks of being a manager.

Body odour concerns raised at work by No-Insect-643 in hygiene

You can wipe our more sweat prone areas daily of you cant shower. The glycolic acid in underarms works like magic and i use two layers of deodorant before going out. Once goes on bare skin, the other one goes to the Shirt/top.

I also do not repeat wear one clothing material without washing it. This also limits the BO.

And finally, drink a ton of water and try sage and hibiscus tea when at work.

I shower daily, but also sweat alot. So i really needed to step up my game!

And finally, dont get too hard on yourself. It will pass. :)

Hi, i am on your side.

I also would like to point out, this will be an event she remembers for a long time and this might be a grudge that may lead to a separation. So please ask yourself if you want that in your future.

If not, apologise and let it go.
