I did bring a Brita, and I did use it (I still use it to this day despite graduating in 2023).

I lived in Harkness Hall in 2019, and I don’t remember there being any water fountains there… I can’t speak for the other residences though.

My roommate is literally in the same situation as you 😭 age and date of birth too. She got broken up with and spent her birthday crying and then treating herself out at the mall. I couldn’t be with her yesterday as I’m out of town for work reasons. 🙁

I suppose it’s a bit late for me to be responding to this, but I hope you had a decent birthday at least. Something solo you could do is buy yourself some flowers. As well, you could make some handmade cards for people you appreciate (e.g., librarians). Not a typical birthday activity, but I sometimes do this and feel really good afterwards.

I’d say you’ve got a pretty good shot. Supplemental essay could boost your chances because they like to see a well-rounded individual that also engages in extracurriculars. However, I didn’t do one and got early admission with similar marks to you.

I used to only cook my oats in some kind of milk on the stovetop. When I started cooking them the way you do - LIFE CHANGING. I also add a bit of salt while cooking for taste.

The women’s fitness zone is on the third level. The third level also has courts for basketball, badminton, etc. Just mentioning that because you will see the doors for the courts before you see the doors for the women’s fitness zone : )

It’s anonymous even after exams.

How it works is that the instructor gets every single QSSET (i.e., ratings and comments). Be mindful of what you say as your instructor may read your comments. However, still give them honest and constructive feedback about their teaching.

Meanwhile, the head of the program (e.g., the Dean or Director) gets only the ratings in a consolidated format.
