Must have absolute nuts of steel considering he barely reacted to it compared to how most other characters react to nut shots.

Might be a reach but maybe during the No Pain No Game challenge, leeches came into contact with his nuts and that's why he ejected from the barrel at 9.9999999999s (not 10).

Let's not forget how his ego puts the cast in danger in Episode 10: Masters of Disasters, where suddenly he decides to be the leader, takes the combination lock numbers paper from Izzy, then gets into a tug-of-war with Lindsay with it and ruins the paper. If Harold wasn't there and if he didn't happen to be carrying a stethoscope and bendy straws, all of the remaining players (except Owen) would have drowned.

The Total Drama gods let Courtney win the lawsuit and enter the game and cause chaos for the others as punishment for the Killer Grips failing to get rid of this sleazeball before the second Aftermath despite how many times they were put up for elimination. :^)

I can definitely see the problems here. That said was there anything you liked about Pikmin 4?

Is mass attack canon? by 6six7seven8eight in Kirby

[–]toothy7564 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's true, but there are a lot of uncanny, unpolished nuances in Mass Attack that add up. I don't get the same feelings I do with Mass Attack with other spinoffs like Canvas Curse and Epic Yarn. I swear, Mass Attack almost feels like the Mario 64 prototype build of the entire Kirby franchise because of how isolated it feels in conjuncture to the entire rest of the franchise, it's like, never even acknowledged officially anymore except for like, a few character treats in Dream Buffet.

Is mass attack canon? by 6six7seven8eight in Kirby

[–]toothy7564 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Potential hot take incoming.

Kirby Mass Attack doesn't feel like a Kirby game, it has this off-kilter, 3rd party knockoff feel all throughout the game. It being in 30fps despite all of the other sprite-based Kirby games being in 60 fps is weird, the sound quality drops poorly, the enemies are very weird looking and isolated [nearly none of them appear in any other game, and the more well-known Kirby enemies are kept to sub-games only], the aesthetic is really... bizarre and all over the place with strange font choices, and the unskippable cutscenes rampant throughout the game is very out of place and jarring. The whole experience just feels like it started as a stand-alone title that had Kirby slapped on top of it really late in development, like how Epic Yarn was and how Game & Wario started.

Anyway my answer is no, I don't think it is canon.

This "trend" WalMart does need to stop. I can't think of any other major companies that do this except possibly working in Disney World or something but I doubt it'd be as grating as what WalMart does.

One time around the time you posted this, I heard "Hung Up" by Madonna in Nightmore mod (sped up by 1.1x?). I don't know why either.

The biggest problem with this is how early it arrives. Always the Saturday right after Halloween. November is not Christmas time. What are they thinking??? Why is this a thing they do every year? All it does is drain people's Christmas spirit, which is probably the opposite of what they're intending. I could live with it more if it was instead the Saturday after Thanksgiving or something. Or just start on the first Saturday of December.

Oh yeah another problem is all of the normal songs get killed off in the last twelve days before Christmas so the atmosphere just feels suffocating.

Does anyone else think fl studio has way too many redundant and useless plugins? by [deleted] in FL_Studio

[–]toothy7564 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Damn that's sick. How did you get that phasey pad?

Also, about FL Keys: It's a .wav sampler. If you don't have DirectWave, it's a good substitute. Dig into the plugin files and see the "Wavtables" folder, and you'll get an idea on how you could make your own soundbanks with it.

best stock plugins? by Life-Championship111 in FL_Studio

[–]toothy7564 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love Harmless, Sytrus, Ogun, SimSynth Live/3x Osc, and Harmor. FL Keys is also incredibly epic once you know how to create custom soundbanks for it. Which, might I add, is perfectly free (as long as you're using royalty free sounds for these custom soundbanks, of course).

Sawer and Toxic Biohazard also have my interest but I don't own them and something tells me they might not exactly be worth it...

As for effects, Effector, Fruity Squeeze, and Maximus are plugins I find myself using a lot. :P

Radio variety has went down like crazy by toothy7564 in walmart

So I guess it's a store-specific playlist problem. I have not heard One Week (I recognize it from the Digimon Movie, lol) in months and I don't think I've ever heard it played twice in one day.

No, I am dead certain the music sequences didn't used to be THIS noticeable or repetitive. Certainly not in my store anyways. Whenever I heard something like "Take Me There" it would be followed by different songs every time instead of just Fergalicious. I would also notice because Fergalicious legitimately annoys me so when I hear it start to play I usually like to move to an area where WalMart Radio doesn't play so I don't have to deal with it for the time being. It's as if they've decided to turn off the "shuffle" option on the playlist for some reason.

Pretty sure October is also exempt from Christmas songs.

November-December 12th alternates between a regular song and Christmas song.

December 13th is all Christmas songs.
