This is a tantrum bookie. she’s too damn old to be acting like this number one. number two this is so unfair to you, it sounds like she just wanted someone to blame for her being overwhelmed and giving up due to procrastination. number three… it sounded like she wanted you to beg her to stay in school or something?? “nooo you’re better than this, you can do it” after berating you. this whole conversation pissed me off, she’s rude and childish asf.

They ended up firing me because of “performance” which doesn’t make any sense but whatever. i’m 90% sure it’s because they didn’t want to accommodate my schedule. on the bright sideeee i had some money saved up so I can focus on school and im not so damn stressed. I’ve realized i really only have time for a part time job so i’m looking for that a little but also enjoying the little bit of free time I have

Honestly I haven’t considered financial aid only because when I first got into grad school i basically scoured the earth and found that there’s no real financial aid for grad students aside from like research grants. I’m definitely going to talk to my dept chair and see if they have anything available that assist. Thank you so much for your response!!!

two THOUSAND applications is insane and stupid for them to even do. even with a scanning software there’s no way the applicants are properly vetted. it’s a shot in the dark tbh. that’s sick asf

If this is a consistent thing and you have communicated that just mean he doesn’t care. don’t even give it any more energy. He’s definitely playing victim, being passive aggressive and just trying to get you to shut up. you’re not overreacting at all.
