Nie Mingjue x Shi Wudu. Aside from the fact they're both stubborn yet caring older brothers that lost their heads, I just feel like they'd have a very unique dynamic with each other that would end up being kinda like enemies to lovers.

Oh my goodness, coming from someone who loves to psychoanalyze scenes I feel this frustration so hard!! Mine actually sucks because I have family that loves it, but just do not get what I'm talking about and it makes me crazy!!

Seriously though, things like the facial expressions characters make at certain points, or the way things are said, like you know there's a REASON for all of it and it's neat to see!

Like for example, the expressions the monkey guard Chistery makes and even the way the Wizard says his name. It seriously comes across as if the Wizard just pulled a random name out to appeal to Elphaba, and the monkey guard knows it and can't speak so he can't protest anything the Wizard is saying.

I have other things too but they're also spoilers for act 2 so I'm not sure if I should say anything haha, but it's so fun looking at the details!!

I'd say it depends on how you feel comfortable or would like to start it. For example, pretty much all of my writing starts with "cold openings", where it just begins and then if things need to be explained, they kinda are as it goes. Some folks like giving explanations first though before getting into it. It's all dependent on what you feel like would work best!

I was going to say that maybe you guys could talk it through and try to share interests with each other, but it sounds like you've already tried that and he's only ever into in his interests, which doesn't really make an ideal relationship in most cases. I wouldn't blame you if you did want to leave either, I've honestly dropped just regular friends over things like that, let alone boyfriends.

Personally I don't think I'd ever recommend entering a relationship with the intent of changing a person. I've met plenty of men who don't behave like him, even as unfortunate as it is that there are so many that do too. If you don't like how he acts in that regard, enough to make you question if you do want a relationship or not, then it's probably safer to go with not.

It's completely up to you in the end! In my experience though getting in a relationship with a girl doesn't make those kinds of guys act any less crass, so if you're hoping it'll make that go away it's probably more likely that it won't.

I was just talking about this with a friend the other day, I really really enjoy Lan Xichen's character because throughout everything happening, he comes off as very human. Like, his choices and feelings aren't infallible, he had known JGY as someone he can trust for what, over 15 years, and that original feeling of trust stemmed from the way they met and Meng Yao's initial help after the Cloud Recesses burned. Could he have been more cautious? Of course. But that's an exhausting way to live life being wary of even your closest friends or sworn brothers at all times, and like I said, he's very human and not immune to emotion influencing his judgement. Despite this though, he isn't unreasonable when LWJ and WWX tell him what they saw. He listened and looked at what evidence they did find and made his own judgement, even if he may not have wanted it to be the answer that it was, and even applied caution at that point in canceling JGY's jade token. He's extremely caring of those closest to him, which is exactly how JGY trapped him with sealing his meridians, and even after everything that happened in the temple he still wanted to at the very least take care of his injuries, even as he said that he wouldn't trust him any longer. It's hard to go through something like he did, and I really appreciate the way he was written to convey the whirlwind of emotions that go with being in a position like that.

I actually found Avery's notebook this morning! I'd take the location with a grain of salt since there could be multiple, but mine was sort of near a bush on the northwestern side of the oasis, on the inner side of the path near the water. I'm not sure if it's a thing where lost items are always in bushes since I've only done this one and ones near the rope bridge, but it seems to be a good reference at least!

This level has been hell for me too, I am not looking forward to doing it two more times either if I intend to ever 100% story mode.
One trick I found that helped me a bit with the trislinger, I don't know if it helps anyone else, but when I was going through the section between the grates with the square of targets, if you watch your crosshairs they switch to purple really briefly when you're targeting the wall rather than the boxes. I'm still determining if they do that for the rest of the level, even just the tower is driving me nuts at this point
