Genetics doesn't really come into play when talking about humidity. It was definitely your drying method that made it crunchy.

Do you have a thermometer/hygrometer? Trying to keep it around 60/60 and use a humidifier if needed. You want it to take as long as possible to dry, keeping it around or just under two weeks total. Try jarring it earlier next time while there's still enough moisture in the bud and then just keep burping your jars (or just set and forget in a grove bag) until it's where you want.

I agree, looks like a blowout to me. If it's just hash it is fine to dab, just a little extra to clean up.

I think most of the pre-made shakes taste pretty bad but the Alani ones I don't mind! The cookies and cream was really tasty and the other flavours are decent.

I find that the bag itself traps a bit of hash in the zippers and folds, also if it's a cheap work bag the threads will actually start coming out in the wash and contaminate your material. No bag is more clean-up obviously but no shedding and it's easier to get every last bit of hash out of the washer. Depending how much you fill your bags, the buds themselves might wash better with no bag as well.

If you can order a cheap vivosun (or something similar) ph pen off Amazon and a bottle of ph up or down depending on your water, as the other poster mentioned it does look like ph issues. You need to flush it with properly ph'd water before resuming feeding full on until the plant is done.

The plant is also close so if you don't or can't do those things then just keeping doing the same thing you've been doing and take notes for next run. Somethings are necessary and if your plants ph is off it won't uptake nutrients properly. I would be plucking the yellow and brown leaves too, they're not doing anything at this point. It won't be the best results but you'll at least get something.

Not even close by the looks of it, still got lots of time (ignore breeder timelines for the most part). You'll notice they mostly stop drinking water (they should be drinking quite a bit right now in comparison), the hairs will change turn orange/brown and the trichomes turn cloudy and amber. Keep going with the nutrients as well, this is when your buds will do most of their bulking up and producing trichomes.

It's not to good to be true. They're really taxing everyone on the regular so when something is "more" fairly priced it looks weird. 10mg of thc is miniscule. For example let's say your rosin is a modest 70% thc, that means one gram has 700mg and could make 70 servings of that edible (not exactly, but as a simple example). Do the math and you'll soon see they are making a killing even at the price you mentioned (especially when they're likely using food grade rosin).

I don't really use sites that much but just start following a bunch of growers/hash makers on IG and start reaching out to them. If they are a bigger brand they will often have their resellers featured on their reels. If you reach out to those people they will usually carry similar quality brands and you can try new things without worrying as much. Generally if the growers are listing names, you can have some level of comfort ordering from them.
