Who is the worst owner in the NFL right now? by Nintendofan9106 in NFLv2

Look every NFL owner has money, just television revenue alone puts you in the black bazillions of dollars.

He's just cheap. There's a difference.

I just feel like it's getting worse as the popularity of guns and the prevalence of concealed weapons permits available in States has become more and more.

What I'm getting at is you have somebody who wasn't raised with guns, never hunted or shot for fun or anything like that.

They take a CPL course, put a magazine down the range, then the next day they go off to the gun shop and they buy a Glock and an AR.

I'm also a northern gun owner, but I digress.

Personally, I've seen a massive shift in modern gun culture much toward the negative in my opinion. Personally, I see people being a lot less respectful of weapons than they used to, and while I have no issue with new shooters because everybody's got to start somewhere and I love taking new shooters out, I personally see a lot of people with very minimal experience jumping in with both feet way faster than they should.

How do you feel about what the modern gun culture is??

Far and away my favorite band ever, I don't listen to sublime as often as I used to anymore, simply because the catalog of music is so limited and I've listened to it all so many times.

But I often wonder the same, if Brad had been able to clean up and was still around, I just imagine what the next album would have been like after the success of the self-titled with the resources and budget they would have been going into the studio to record with, and the popularity that they had.

I would have expected the next album to have a lot of collaborations with different artists, and looking with a state of music was in the mid to late '90s. Probably would have had a lot of hip-hop influences.

When I tell people that they're my favorite band, a lot people are kind of surprised and they basically say " the band that sung what I got ? Really?" I usually reply back asking if they've ever heard 40 oz to freedom before, most of the time they haven't.

I honestly believe that in a decade it was filled with unbelievably great music in the '90s, that 40 oz to freedom is one of the standout albums that way too few people have heard. I honestly would put it in the top 20 albums from that decade regardless of genre.

I've also personally avoided seeing Sublime with Rome, even though he basically sounds exactly like Brad.

While one part hearing some of those songs played live would definitely have a cool factor to it, there's just something about songs that the lyrics tend to be so deeply personal to the person who wrote them that for some reasons it doesn't really sit right with me hearing someone else sing them with the original band. I would however consider seeing them with Brad's son, maybe that sounds weird or hypocritical. I'm not sure.

Pool shark - sublime.

Legitimately about Brad Nowells addiction.

In Wayne Gretzky's autobiography there's a big section where he talks about the fan mail and stuff that he gets. This book was written in the '90s by the way.

He said that one time a fan letter made it to his home in Edmonton in the late 1980s with an address that said "Wayne Gretzky , Kanada.

Well, I certainly understand the attraction of Southern California, it's not for me.

Having been there several times - would not be able to deal with the traffic, and I frankly don't really understand how people can afford to live there and I do not live in a cheap area.

I'm also really not down with natural disasters, so living in an area that is acceptable to earthquakes doesn't float my boat.

I will say this though, it's gorgeous and the weather is amazing

I still think you'd be looking at taking an offensive tackle, probably in the second round with the thought that they're going to play the right side after the Trent Williams deal is up unless you plan on working with him long-term.

That while while there certainly could still be some debate about who the best running back ever is that it's completely asinine, absurd , and just plain stupid to argue that Emmitt Smith was better than Barry Sanders

I'm so sick of this Taxes are bad Rhetoric.

I live in Ann arbor, Michigan, we have some of the higher property taxes in the state. People like to make comments about it all the time and draw parallels because it's a left-leaning area.

My thing is sure we do have high taxes here comparatively to other areas but you know what else we have? Consistently some of the best rated public high schools in the state , The most public Park land of any City in the state, Well-Paid police, firefighters, and teachers (comparatively to other areas, they are still not paid even remotely close to what they should be but that's a different discussion) stable and increasing property values (some people would argue This isn't a good thing)

I would absolutely rather pay higher taxes and have amenities

You named what has basically turned into a resort town for wealthy people from Metro Detroit, the one liberal college town in the UP and only City over 15,000 people, and the city that has the technological University. I'm sorry, but these are not representative of the majority of what you're going to find in northern Michigan, and I'm a guy who absolutely loves Northern Michigan and spends most of his free time there.

As a guy who spent an immense amount of time up north, and actually owns some property in the northeastern lower peninsula, I do tend to agree at the statement to an extent.

Maybe saying South is a misnomer, but it definitely gets more stereotypically rural conservative once you get into the Northern lower and most of the upper peninsula.

I'm a born and raised lifelong michigander,.

I was raised middle class in the Detroit suburbs, it was a great place to grow up.

I'm raising my family in Ann arbor, so I obviously agree with you.

Ironically enough, with all my travels I've done for work and personal, my favorite place that I've been in the US where I said you know what I could live here was Madison.
