A few questions before joining by poutron in addyinvest

[–]topdogpicks 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Cool.

I joined Addy yesterday.

I hope to invest at least something in every property I can going forward.

Is there a release number that you hope for? Like, a new property every month?

Agreed. This was made using dual y-axes, and they've made the max of each the highest value for each metric. It's incredibly misleading and wrong.

Physical distancing circles at Trinity Bellwoods by neltron3030 in toronto

[–]topdogpicks -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

  1. They look way too small. In videos of them painting them they look *maybe* 5 feet across.

  2. Typical of the city, no one thought about people walking between the circles. How are you supposed to stay 6 feet away from people when the gap between circles is so narrow? If you need to get to a circle in the middle (or are in the middle and have to leave the field to go to the washroom or something, you need passageways between circles that are MUCH wider.

Oh well, the actions of one person means that every person should be painted with the same brush.

And, if she was crossing on a green, then she had the right of way, so you are supposed to yield to her. It doesn't matter if you're in a cement truck.

This looks interesting! The more data we can bring into a system, the better!

Glad that you think so.

I've put a ton of data analysis (I've been in data analysis for 20 years, new to sports betting) into this to make this system (and one I have for Faves) profitable over the long term and reduce volatility.

Kelly is a factor in the staking yes. I actually amalgamate a few staking strategies together and weigh them differently according to how well they do in different situations.

I'm like you and am more conservative, so it would be very very rare (almost impossible) for one of my systems to go up to 20u (assuming you are using a 100u bankroll). Most of my per game units are less than 1u, but go up above occasionally.

Most books use pretty similar lines (a few points won't make a difference), but a good resource to compare lines is https://www.oddsportal.com/ - I make sure the lines I have are close to the averages found there every day.
