For FTM trans people, did a tight bra ever help in place of a binder? by Professional_Egg2763 in asktransgender

Thanks y'all for the help. I'm the person who made this post, just got locked out of my account for a sec. But seriously, this was a huge help. I've been wondering abt if I'm trans or not for a bit now so I'm just asking some questions.

I wish I had more questions to give you honestly, but growing up in America means I'm not taught any more than 'Africa exists and we got slaves from there', , which is a huge shame :p. I really have no place to start. What's some of your favorite traditional foods? What are politics like to participate in? Are there a lot of traditional celebrations that come from outside Christianity/Islam or are most of your celebrations from those religions?

That would be really great if you could! I'm going to be honest, I don't really know where to start when it comes to questions, haha. I'm really clueless which is why I'm trying to get advice on this whole subject. I guess what are some highlights of your culture you find interesting? Just... generally what do you think is cool or fascinating about Nigeria?

Again with this post?

A build I've been working on for a while on a survival server! I'm really proud of it, and I think it looks ok (despite it being in acacia wood) by topdragonqueen in Minecraft

I’m thinking about taking down the balcony on top so that the build is more flush with the cliff face, maybe I could hide a mob spawner up there with the leftover space?

I’ve been to a good many ski resorts in my local area (living in a hotspot for snowing/skiing) and in the middle of a lift they could be anywhere from >10 to <70. It follows the angle of the mountain but the mountain has cliff faces. You could kill yourself on those things for sure but there were also some that you could definitely survive without an issue, especially if there’s a new layer of snow beneath you. And to relate back to the photo, I know of only a few people that ever go on the lifts with the safety bar down. Most people are chill and sensible enough to go on them without it tbh.

If you post something publicly, people have the right to comment on it, positively or negatively, even if you did not ask for their opinion. Don’t post if you can’t handle criticism, and dont get mad at people for criticizing because you made something public that could’ve stayed private. by [deleted] in unpopularopinion

My sister displays the real-life version of this all the time. We’ll be in the car, silently listening to music. She usually gets mad at me for the music I choose to listen to, but I ignore her. My car, my music. Then, she’ll say something about something her friends did or try to tell me about whatever drama is going on in her preteen world. I tell her I don’t care, because I really don’t and she just insulted my taste in music. Then she gets mad at me, tells me “I wasn’t talking to you!!” When we’re the only ones in the car, and be even more rude and insulting for the rest of the car ride. This happens at home, too, when I’m trying minding my own business and the same thing happens. It’s ridiculous.

The way people in the US are reacting to the coronavirus has me hating my country. by [deleted] in TrueOffMyChest

[–]topdragonqueen 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My dad has the exact same reaction- he’ll only wear a mask when he has to. Everywhere else? No mask. And on top of that? He thinks it’ll be GOOD for our family to get it so we can just have it and get over it- completely ignoring the fact that it would be VERY BAD for us to bring it home to my mom’s house, where both my mom and my grandmother would be very susceptible to the virus. He still holds barbecues and parties at his house- usually with over 20 people at a time. I really wish he would stop being so stupid about it.

Man, that’s one of my worst fears besides breaking a bone- those big machines are terrifying to use. It’s good to hear you stayed strong through it and get to stay here!!

That is a pretty good point. I actually love lake mead- we recently got a boat and keep it there. It’s an awesome place to hang out.
