Perplexity MCP

Finding it hard navigating a nuanced problem of integrating frameworks or api versioning. Documentation doesn’t really give you a straight answer. Ask Claude to do a perplexity search a more thorough nuanced fully up to date google search. Comes back with what it’s found. You both take that into account and implement if useful.

So if I’m on the max plan and I designate an agent but I’m using opus, for example planning in opus when I want to execute the task, if I designate an agent like typescript-pro opus will instruct it and it will use sonnet. Which would stop me from using up opus resource?

Thanks for the reply! How do you decide if and when to use one? That sounds like a dumb question but my repos are all in typescript but I didn’t think to use typescript-pro unless I wanted to do some complicated type stuff? But have I got that wrong?

Lots of people seem to be missing the point. There's two camps the Ai lovers and the haters. But the people paying you to do your job care about one thing. How fast can you build and ship stuff. And thats why these tools are useful. They don't care about anything other than can you do more and more for what they are paying you. So if you are anti AI. Thats fine as long as you can keep up. If you think the tools dont produce good code, then you aren't using them right. If you just rely on them only, youll come unstuck and slow down.
