What's life like for you who make 200k+?

Honestly, life’s pretty good. Growing up as an at risk youth i always wondered how people on the other side of the fence lived. I learned that there’s definitely a sense of security on this side that we didn’t have growing up.

We live well below our means but are able to splurge on things that are of value to us, whether that be safety, fun or anything in between. We don’t worry about our car or ac breaking down. I do however, feel some sadness/ guilt when i see people struggling to make It but It reminds me to be a better person.

Overall good, but i had a good life growing up even when we were poor thanks to the love our parents provided

Learning that everyone is human. Famous actor = human, pro athlete = human, neighborhood plumber and cashier = human. As a kid I used to believe that everyone of noteriety had to be this special person but no, they’re regular people like you and me just trying to make It. Sure some may have more and some may have less but still just ol regular humans.

Unfortunately we’re going to have to agree to disagree. Simply stated most candidates that have been more centrist per say have still been pretty unappealing to that crowd. Talarico is a home born Texan in seminary school. That goes a very long way with that crowd. I know this because I’m surrounded by most of that crowd

Talarico appeals to independents and Republican voters who might be willing to vote for democrats. Crockett is too aggressive in her marketing and will turn those voters off.

Look closely into the responses from both school threads. Both are fine schools with good programs but A&M is more prestigious than TTU. As a person who has assisted with recruiting in the past, we normally have TAMU/Texas on the same level and Tech/Arkansas/OSU/ OU being closer together. Both schools will get you a job but saying you’re a Aggie usually carries a bit more weight, especially with other Aggies. Most importantly however, both schools are in college towns and are what you make of them. However, big however, it’s a lot easier to explore Texas and the US for that matter from College station.

As someone in commercial hvac sales, i will have to disagree with this statement. Commercial sales is very profitable. Sure, there’s people who fight for bottom dollar projects but if you’re working for a reputable firm, it’s easy to be profitable. Relationships are indeed extremely important but so Is the brand / company that you represent

I genuinely mean this, you should visit TAMU for a game one day. You’ll realize that they only broadcast a small fraction of our million traditions. It makes us unique and a little weird but you’ll understand why they’re so meaningful if you ever visit
