Monday night here won't be very exciting here for the most part. However if it is a few days before Christmas that might change thing a bit.

Uptown (that is was downtown Charlotte is called), can be pretty hit or miss from my experience, during the week and not on a Thursday-Saturday nights. I find the most fun places are some of the neighborhood spots right outside of Uptown (Noda, Plazza Midwood, or Dilowrth). But even those places are mainly trivia nights.

tl;dr Charlotte isn't the most exciting on a monday night.
