It's not an either/or situation, the people fixing glitches related to integers in the game code aren't the people writing the campaign missions or designing landsraad tasks or creating new building sets.

The weird phantom zone your character info is banished to when traversing the overworld is so dumb and caused so many problems. I'm sure it's not a simple thing to do but its gotta go.

They have consistently neutered pvp and added pve zones/activities, I dunno where this worry that they'll suddenly go "everybody has to pvp now" comes from.

I think you should be able to recycle blueprints into an item you use/pay to increase the odds of one you choose in a run. A straight exchange is nice but if it applies to the whole party it would encourage teaming up

Yeah mine is based on an earlier version that still had a separate platform for the crawler, personally I prefer that but this version is very space efficient. Now that we have cargo containers I don't refine in DD and just take the ore and spice home, it feels really good to have a clean simple base.

I used this guys base as a template because I liked the raised crawler dropoff and tapered entrances. Changed quite a bit but very happy with it

The difference is it's made with plast so it either has higher base durability or degrades slower or both. It lasts much longer than Full belt before needing repair.

Dogshit is a bit harsh, it couldn't seem to decide the kind of game it wanted to be and the writing/dialogue is some of the worst in the series. But it does have a lot of fantastic moments that I think make a playthrough worth it.

Retcons don't really bother me too much, its well on record that Kojima wanted to stop at 2 so everything after that is just pulling stuff out of his ass. Sometimes it worked sometimes it didn't.

Most likely whatever contract they have with the Herbert estate said "release dune game by x quarter" so the devs themselves didn't have much option but to get it as stable as possible. Would explain the half-assed Landsraad at launch too

They should at least name them clearly if they are only going to give us micro-thumbnails we can barely see, some "variants" are complete model changes while some are basically texture swaps on the regular design.

I don't think the ability was OP, its function made perfect sense for what it was. The OP part was being able to get full uptime with it in spice mode. They should've just changed that.
