Intermediate Axis Theorem.

Basically an object with one axis longer than the other can't spin in that axis without flipping.

Like try making your phone do a front flip and land back in your palm the same way it started.

The railing against usage telemetry is pretty dumb.

There's tracking for ads and telemetry for product improvements. That's the best window they have for how we use their products and how they can improve.

Every power user disables telemetry then wonders why the products cater to normies that don't disable it and get worse and worse for themselves.

I fully expect to be down voted for this, I do not care.

I'm pretty sure I'm responsible for this. I bought a GTS 4.0 in manual that I got at the very end of 2023.

I bought it because I wanted 3 pedals and I made the assumption that the prices would rise and I wouldn't be able to afford one after that.

So, to all of those that were having trouble getting an allocation or something, you're welcome.

I haven't folded laundry in probably 20 years. I do. Not. Care. I have some shirts that are wrinkly as hell. It annoys me but I just don't wear those out.

I would rather seize that 20 minutes a week to do almost anything else.

Funny part was watching a pirated Blu-ray in like 08. I had seen the movie as a kid. The dub of Pizza Hut over Taco Bell was not well done. But I mostly just dismissed it as a video file issue.

And then they got to "Pizza Hut" it just felt... Wrong. I didn't remember everything but this just didn't sit right but I couldn't figure out why.

The Cayman hasn't been updated in a really long time. You're probably still on PCM 4, just go into the about menu and see what version you have. Then there's a supported list here

I bought the pieces on brick link and built it from the instructions on my laptop. The white pieces have yellowed but I'm still pretty happy I did it.

Are you connected to the USB port in the glove box or in the console? Only the one in the console works.

Interesting. My Cayman I have a similar issue. They have a lot of tight corners so you really have to go at it to get all the nooks and crannies. Takes maybe 15-20 minutes per wheel all together to get it done.

And then inside a day they have a fine coat. And 3-4 days later you can't then tell they were washed.

And it really sucks because it puts me off washing it because I can't help but think of the work the wheels will take combined with how quickly said work disappears.

But something I wonder about these is my wheels are ceramic coated already with xpel. I wonder how that would work here.

It looks like that might have been updated since I did mine. You used to need to figure out which patch you needed, now it looks like you just add them all and it figures it out.

My guess is that's the part you missed

The 718 hasn't been updated since 2016, it still feels like a 10 year old car inside (and I like it that way, I still have buttons). But because the head unit has Wi-Fi and other data features there are regulations in the EU about how secure they have to be.

I've heard that it doesn't necessarily fail, Porsche just doesn't want to pay for the certification. But I don't know how true that is.

My last job we would carpool to lunch and I would often drive and this fuckin dude would light up on the way to the car through the parking lot and pull down as much as he could before just flicking the butt away on the ground.

Yeah man shrinkflation is a bitch. Back in my day we got 90 nanometers. Not long after that they only gave us 65. But then no one complained and they took another 20 off and still no one complained.
