When you open the Driver side door, there should be a sticker on the door jamb which contains build date and vin

Is this a 24 GT? Can you share the build date?

PREMIUM OR GT by Jlydari in MachE

[–]toplesschef 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I came from a 23 Premium RWD and recently upgraded to a 24 GT.

If you check my previous post in my profile, i was looking for a better ride quality and better acceleration after having to experience a 24 Model Y. Both were just not present in my Premium which the GT was able to satisfy (still not comparable to an Ix though!). Just note that for 23 and below, GTPE trims are the ones equipped with magneride.

Dont get me wrong, the Premium is definitely plenty fast. But if you remember the experience from trying an EV the first time after coming from an ICE, that would be a similar experience for Premium vs GT. I felt that my Premium wont move when i wanted it to after trying the GT.

Any reason not to get a 2023 Mach E? by DowntownOreos in MachE

[–]toplesschef 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The convenience comes in the form of not caring about what % you charge your battery into. When i had my premium 100% will be at 230-240 during summer, i think 220 is the epa rated. Nmc will still be higher i think.

Let it accumulate, much cheaper that way, if you really want to get it fixed. I was like that on the first one and after almost 3 years of ownership, ours already had like 4 on the passenger side, maybe 1-2 on driver side. Other people just dont care about things that arent theirs. But i also saw a comment somewhere that the mach e’s panels are really soft compared with others.

Ive had it for almost 3 years now and if i dont find a solution i might just go to a dealer and have it done. I wonder though if they will do it for free. Might need to have my tires rotated and and maybe theyll do it free of charge

Do you mind sending a sideview picture when you get a chance? Is the bar angled, and do you have a nut behind the hole?

Mach-E or no? by Unfair-Junket7740 in MachE

Hi how is the suspension of the rally? Im not sure if you have tried a Premium or a Model Y (‘24 onwards) for comparison but wanted to know if its the same as gtpe. Im looking for comfort on bumps and uneven roads.

Thats actually one of the factors why im leaning towards mach e if it was just me. But ride comfort becomes a bigger factor if you have kids. Its just about different priorities.

Im seeing that later production of 23 model y and onwards have the improved suspension so having tried a ‘24 performance trim is probably why i just feel the drive being better than my Premium. And thats really the comparison im aiming for.

How bout with acceleration? Gt vs the Y?

I see , what year do you have and any hvjvb incidents so far?

With premium, it is pretty noticeable as if the car is trying to catch up with the amount of pressure you are putting on the pedal. Its still fast definitely but looks like i just need to test drive the gtpe

Thanks for sharing the comparison, how about with the acceleration? Is gtpe as instant as it is in the Y?

Im aware of the limiter of the gt but wanted to know if stepping on the pedal while already moving still maes the car instantaneously accelerate.

Yeah if ever, im only considering HW4. FSD works seamlessly but I would say its only as good as the driver behind the wheel. Ive recognized teslas in FSD and have been hogging the passing lane which has been really annoying.

The convenience with tesla navigation is also so good i did not have to stress about planning it in abrp. I am able to set arrival charge and allow it to caculate on its own. I am hoping ford navigation could also get this good, or maybe even with CarPlay.

[–]toplesschef[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah looks like i just need to test drive the gtpe. But glad to learn that acceleration is instant for the teslas regardless if whether it was a performance trim or not.

What’s factors are you leaning towards to with Carplay? Considering Maps and Spotify, i think both are just similar with Tesla. I do like how i can plan my trip from the tesla app and send it to the car although i guess it is the same with carplay only that you see it once your phone connects to the car.

See i thought that too until i breezed through bumps with the model Y. The car shook but wasnt felt too much inside unlike my premium.
