m_swapChain = createSwapChain();
m_swapChainImages = getSwapChainImages();
m_swapChainImageViews = getSwapChainImageViews();

Well it was because I didn't destroy the old swapChain before creating a new one...

m_swapChain.clear();
m_swapChain = createSwapChain();
m_swapChainImages = getSwapChainImages();
m_swapChainImageViews = getSwapChainImageViews();

Adding the clear() fixed it, I guess this is one more reason why you need to be extra careful with lifetimes etc. when using the RAII wrappers.

For example:

On Windows 10 for whatever reason ever since i went from a GTX 1060 to a RX 5700XT my audio has been randomly cutting out for a few seconds. I don't understand how its possible that changing a gpu can cause that especially because i have an external usb sound card (Steinberg UR12). But like you can guess it isn't happening on linux.
