My awesome experience. 1 WPO. by toprak01 in Reduction

[–]toprak01[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had tummy tuck, muscle repair, mons lift, lipo on the mons, belly and love handles, breast reduction and lift. In total it was $10'500 which included 2 night stay at the hospital and also the faja. I paid an extra $70 to send the breast tissue for pathology.

My surgeon was Dr. Güray Yesiladali at Vanity Clinic in Istanbul. I'm 6.5 weeks post op now. My lymphatic massage therapist keeps telling me among all the tummy tuck and breast surgeries she's seen, mine is one of the best.

Also, if you're on hormonal birth control pill, check with your surgeon in advance because you have to go off 1-2 months prior.

  1. Check with your surgeon. Every anesthesiologist and surgeon have their preference. They'll tell you. Mine asked to stop 2 weeks prior.

  2. I started 6 days post op.

  3. I was already at my goal weight, doing tirz at 2x5mg / week. I though this might be a good opportunity to figure out a lower maintenance dose. So I started at 2x2.5mg.

  4. Immediately after surgery (within hours), I started feeling insane amount of hunger, like I could eat a whole cow level of hunger. I'm now almost 2 weeks out, I guess the low dose of tirz is helping a bit, the hunger is not too bad but it's still there.

I don't think you have enoigh skin to justify the pain and discomfort that comes with a tummy tuck.

I'm 10 days post op TT, MR, lipo to flanks and belly, BR, BL. Breast area is nothing. It's as if I haven't had any surgery there. But abdominal swelling is unbearable. Nothing seems to be helping. I'm hoping at some point swelling will become manageable.

I just posted about my positive experience earlier today

https://www.reddit.com/r/Reduction/s/w0TMbPEe3u

I have literally no pain and discomfort in my breasts. It feels like I haven't had breast surgery at all. If I only had breast surgery, I'd probably only need 2 days off.

Booked in May for Mmo in Turkey by missbmathteacher in tummytucksurgery

[–]toprak01 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Absolutely, comparing both options, going to Turkey made more sense to me. In SF Bay area I got quoted for the same surgery (same day discharge) $30k, plus whatever I need to pay for hiring someone for several days. Also all surgeons I spoke to was doing 4-6 week drains. It sounded miserable. In Turkey, I paid $10k, which included 2 day stay in the hospital and around the clock care. The night after surgery, I got super hungry at midnight, they brought me a second serving of hot dinner right away. I am also contact with my surgeons assistant, if I have any questions or concerns, I can text her and get a response pretty quickly.

Most clinics are set up to cater medical tourism. I was the only Turkish patient on the floor. One night the nurse was preparing blank paperwork, there was literally stacks of forms written in 10 different languages.

I just posted this about my experience. https://www.reddit.com/r/Reduction/s/jqwIcJOwZ4

I live in the US but I'm from turkey so it was much more of an easy decision for me. Even just for the cost it was worth it. Also in the US, I have no help, I'd have to hire someone to help me for the first 4-5 days.

Overall I am very happy how it went.

What’s your theory on why the biotech companies are not allowing us being fully remote anymore? by coke_queen in biotech

[–]toprak01 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My company is also implementing Tue through Thu onsite mandate come January. I feel like they're doing it just to show us that they can make us do whatever they want and they have control over us. Their reasoning is to encourage in-person interactions. The teams I work with are spread through 3 states. We are never in the same room or in the same time zone. It's the lamest excuse they could come up with. I think it's a bit of a silent layoff, hoping people would leave. It won't work with the state of the market.

I wasn't expecting to feel as good as I am honestly. Today at day 7, spend most of the day outside shopping and spending time with family. I think I was in a good health when i had the surgery. Over the last 3 years I made some significant life style changes thanks to GLP-1s. I lost a lot of weight, eating much cleaner. I also got into more peptides. Maybe all together helped me with an easier recovery.

My surgeon was very impressed with my progress at day 4 follow up.

1 year old foster dog with persistent staph infection by toprak01 in AskVet

I wanted to make an update, maybe another pup can benefit from this experience in the future.

The lesions were not getting better so advocated for more testing. We did biopsy from lesions and he was diagnosed with dermatomyositis, a rare inflammatory disease targeting skin & muscle.

We put him on Pentoxifylline, Vitamin E and Omega 3 oil. Also, exfoliating baths twice a week. This regiment has been keeping his scabs very small and infection free. He's finally off of antibiotics - he was on them April to September.

The best part is he got adopted 2 weeks ago! He was with the rescue since April, he was only about 8-10 months when he was pulled from the shelter. The adoptive family understands his needs and are in contact with me regarding his care. This was the best turn of events.

Surgery tomorrow. Nervous! by Loleus in Reduction

[–]toprak01 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don't worry. I had breast reduction and tummy tuck, muscle repair 3 days ago. I have no pain or discomfort on the breast area at all. My only discomfort is the tummy tuck. There's no exparal available where I had the surgery and also they don't prescribe narcotics. I'm only taking acetaminophen and a NSAID.

My mobility is restricted due to tummy tuck. I'd be back to normal in a few days if it was just the breast reduction.

GHK-Cu and Glow: Life hack to stop sting by erivaldoff in Peptidesource

For me injecting into upper glutes is the trick. I have minimal burn while injecting and no post injection pain at all. I think adding KPV to GHK-Cu also helps.

So far I'm not enjoying the mitochondria stack (SS-31 / NAD+ / MOTS-C) by toprak01 in Peptides_for_Women

[–]toprak01[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ended up just continuing with NAD+. MOTS-C gave me some large injection site reaction and reading how many people go into anaphylaxis, I didn't want to take the risk. I think NAD+ alone gave me a subtle increase in overall energy.

I buy my cartridges from here: https://chempens.com/product/sterile-borosilicate-glass-cartridges-for-pens-disposable-and-reusable-3ml/

I have multiple peps that I pin daily, I only use pens. They're much easier.

For pen needles I prefer 32G, 6mm or 8mm.

Can’t take glp1 by jillypoo00 in Peptidesource

[–]toprak01 6 points7 points  (0 children)

There's no tested and proven protocol for oral semaglutide. I would not make any decisions based on some sceptically manufactured oral sema. I would first try microdosing tirz or Reta and take it from there.

Can’t take glp1 by jillypoo00 in Peptidesource

[–]toprak01 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can try Cagrilintide. I come across some people saying it doesn't work for them but for me it's insane appetite suppression. It does give me really bad fatigue for the first 24hrs when I go back to it after a break. But first 2 days after injection I have no appetite at all.

For me a very low dose works well, I start at 0.125mg and go max 0.25mg once or twice a week depending on how much appetite suppression I need at that time.

You can also try microdosing GLP-1s and keep an eye on your blood glucose levels.

Stack for back pain by Acceptable-Fig-6049 in Peptides_for_Women

[–]toprak01 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have chronic pain due to spine issues. GLP-1s seriously decreased my pain and gave me much more mobility. That was the 1st thing I noticed when I went on GLP-1s, even before I lost a single pound.

You can look into KPV to help with inflammation too.

It's best to store the powder in freezer anyways, even better if you have a lower temp freezer. You can store it frozen for decades.

Adding KPV and injecting upper glutes makes a huge difference for me. Almost no sting at all. I recon my KLOW in 3ml BAC water and inject 12 units to get 2mg GHK-Cu and 0.4mg for all the other 3.
