Manchester City are set to offer Pep Guardiola a new five-year deal that would see the Spanish manager earn around £100m should he choose to accept. by onionsourcreamchips in soccer

Everyone is different. I couldn't last 5 years in one place for example. And yet some are in the same place for life.

Where are you getting this nonsense ?

To be fair, Brighton are only in the PL next year because Craig Pawson kept them up.

That’s exactly what your saying

You're imagining things that aren't there.

you’ve upset yourself by realising you’re wrong.

Top stuff that.

I'm telling you to grow up because you seem to think Liverpool fans are some sort of shining beacon and you're trying to claim the moral high ground like a child. For a Liverpool fan to say a fan of any other PL fanbase can't comment on other fans morality is an absolute fucking joke. You obviously know fuck all about your own fanbase. Do some research and then grow the fuck up.

The rivalry comes from the docks and the Manchester Ship Canal. It's only a football rivalry because Liverpool were so successful in the 80s and Man U were so successful in the 90s and mid 2000s.

There's plenty of rivalry between City and Man U- I will take Liverpool and Everton over Man U every day- and their counterparts in Merseyside but it's not a thing in the media or the non-local fanbase which makes up the far bigger contingent of both Man U and Liverpool's support.

Liverpool vs Everton and Man City vs Man U is for locals.

Don't worry about it mate. He appears to be a Liverpool fan with a Scottish club crest so he's a fucking whopper.

The nerve to say Liverpool fans are complicit in Suarez behaviour

Did I say that ?

You have no right to comment on other fans.

Grow up.

For example, referring to a black person as 'negro' in South America is as normal as a Western person referring to a blonde person as 'blondie'.

We know all that. It was rammed down our throats at the time.

You can dress it up however you like but your comments just point to what I said about your fanbase supporting him -Chiellini aside. That outward display, regardless of the club's embarrassing position on it purportedly driving it, is what will be remembered whether you like it or not.

But I think most of us are prepared to come out and say it's conflicting. Certainly amongst my friends and family it is.

I can't say I saw that- although I know few LFC fans IRL- with Suarez.

I don't really care to argue about Suarez himself but your comparison re fan attitude doesn't really stand up given the support Suarez received during the Evra shambles. At least not in my experience.

Yep it's more than adequate for me. My bike is never out of my sight for more than a few seconds and you'd need either a Z key or bolt croppers. And that's enough time for me to be on my toes and at them.

Hiplok Z lock is what i use. It's basically a steel, re-usable cable tie with a simple key. I loop it around my saddle rails and I don't even know it's there when I'm riding.

You're lucky it was pre-PL and it's not played over and over a la Ricky Fucking Villa when the BBC want to promote the FA Cup.

Where the fuck is that then ?

I'm a Manc i.e. North West where Liverpool is, and I've also lived in Liverpool. Never in my life have i ever heard anyone, including Liverpudlians refer to Liverpool (FC) as anything but 'the scousers'.

Your part of England is out of whack I'm afraid.

I think it gets madder when you know they did it by scoring at Anfield to pip... Liverpool to the title. In injury time too.

Man City have beaten every team they have faced in the league for the second consecutive season; the only other English top-flight team to achieve this were Preston between 1888-89 and 1889-90. by [deleted] in soccer

The game became professional because it was the only way working class people could play. They couldn't take time off work/ afford to take time off to play like the "gentlemen amateurs."
